My friend called me from work just now to tell me the XBox Live 360 Vision Cam Bundle is now 39.98. Also the wireless headset for the 360 should be 29.98 as well so incase you missed out GO NOW!

*EDIT: Since I keep seeing the same damn question, NO it is not for the Halo wireless headset. Just the normal, white, wireless headset.*

The TRU in Charlotte near Carolina Place Mall had at least 20 wireless headsets @ $29.99. Unfortunately though they didn't have any of the Vision Bundles.

I just bought 2 Vision Cam bundles at the Merritt Island TRU in the Cocoa, FL area.
There are still 4 left on the shelf.
Whoo-hoo, made a custom gamerpic with the camera. I guess that was worth the $39.98 ;). I'm a bit disappointed you can't do much else with it from the dashboard. I would have liked at least a few EyeToy-like minigame things - something to get the kids jumping around, even if it was just wierd colors to push about.
There is always totemball:D

I believe the custom gamerpic is only visible to those on your friends list

Picked up one at the TRU in Madison, Wi.
Already have one, but cant beat that price for another 12 months of live and ill just use the camera as a web cam for my pc
They had about 6 or 7 more -- Thanks OP!

and its free ( at least it was when i downloaded it)
there is one other eyetoy style game on xbla but i dont remember what its called so i guess that doesnt really help

picked up 2 - exactly what i needed

Had plenty of wireless headsets but i can live with a cord the rare times i need it.

Saw some other clearance items i might want to pick up, like a 2200 mah psp battery for $17.

Picked up 2 of the last 3 in Dover, DE and the sales associate that price checked them for me was going to buy the last one

Picked up a vision bundle for $40. Unfortunately, the headsets were wiped out and I really wanted one of those. Oh well.

I should have gone yesterday, but I wasn't feeling well.

It looks like the Live Vision Bundles with Bankshot Billiards are ringing up as 59.98. The newer Uno/Robotron bundles are 39.98. 3x Uno/Robotron, 2x Billiards bundles left at Maplewood, MN.

I missed this deal when it was online, but I'm happy to say I swung by and picked up 2 of the bundles (one for a friend) plus a wireless headset at the Glen Burnie store. Thanks OP.

For anyone in the Maryland area, there are 2 bundles and 2 wireless headsets left.

I tried the TRU in San Diego by USD last night around 5:30, none left. I can't complain too much though as I got CC to price match when the deal was online. Wanted to grab another for a birthday gift for a friend, now I gotta find something else that fits into my CAG ways. Great deal for those who find 'em.

Grabbed 3 for friends and myself from North Olmstead (Ohio). That was the last three that they had out.

They had no wireless headsets.

Fairlawn, Ohio had none last night (they said they sold the last 2 earlier). But they did have a ton of headsets all clearly marked.

Can anyone vouch for the quality of the wireless headset? Both in terms of the speaker and the mic itself. I've heard mixed reactions earlier, but I have a secret fetish for all things wireless.

Take a guess. Not for long..it's clearance so once they are gone..it's dead. At least for a few months or year.
how long is this sale going to last?
It's not a sale it's a clearance. The item is at discontinued status and they're trying to get rid of all of them at least possibly until new version comes out, but basically once it's gone it's gone.

picked up a headset, one of three tags available. no vision bundles in stock :( the clerk did say she received the price cut for it, but had no units to discount.

I'll leave the headset sealed until I gain enough confidence from reviews/end-user-reports online. No qualms about returning it :)

Whats the big deal?

try out the wireless headset. if you like it keep it.

remember - the original wireless controllers had problems with it.

if your controller & headset each take up a green light, your old controller is at fault.

the TRU in Puyallup, WA had 5 vision bundles left after I got one, and about 30+ headsets. They were all the round hole for the wall plug in not the firewire plug type.

Anyone have any experience returning opened video game accessories? Do they stick to their return policy?

I bought a wireless headset to try out as well. It would suck if I didn't like it and not be able to return it.

Picked one up, thanks OP.

I hopped on the $39.99 Buy.com deal for the Halo 3 Wireless Headset a few weeks ago. However, the dumbasses went and filled my order with one of the regular headsets that use the AC adapters (which I believe are the older models) - the same model I just bought as part of this deal for $29.98. RMA on the way, Buy.com.

There are a ton of wireless headsets at the Buckhead TRU in Atlanta. As mentioned above, they're the older models that use the AC Adapters (I think there are newer white models, right?).

Made my way over to TRU earlier.

They had a ton of the headsets back in the games department (with the $29.99 price), but no Vision bundles.

I went up and asked an employee, who headed into the back and returned with a bundle. He scanned it, and it was $39.99! Asked him if he could get a second one (for another CAG) and he did.

Picked up a Vision bundle at the Clive, IA store, $39.99. They had 5 or 6 left in the case behind the counter, and one busted-ass one hanging on the rack by the other headsets and stuff.

See my post earlier in the thread. It seems there are two different product numbers/UPCs associated with the white wireless headset. I don't know what the difference is. Some have said that some come with an AC charger; mine did not.

Models: B4E-0004, B4E-0025
UPCs:
882224237789
882224460521

There's wireless headsets that don't come with an AC charger? How do you recharge the headset??? LOL

Which UPC is the one without the charger? It seems thats the newer one going by earlier posts.

I think the new ones come with a USB cable.

honestly i wish i had a wall charger for my wireless headset (halo version). Charging it via the Xbox is a PITA because you basically need to leave the system on to charge it.

Anyone know if the adaptors are interchangeable? i.e. can i use the wall charger to charge my halo headset, which came with the usb cable?

B4E-0004 = wall charger

I can't confirm the other

FYI, mine would not sync with one controller (it is supposed to sync on the same port as the controller, the controller would sync to port one and the headset to port 2) but would sync fine with the other. I read someplace on the internet (sounds crazy) that the controller "thinks" it has a wired headset plugged in. There are copper contacts where the wired controller plugs in (2 oval holes each have 2 contacts on the bottom, round hole has 1 contact on the side). Per info I read, I used a needle to bend these contacts away from the edge just a bit.

First, I did the 4 in the oval holes with the same result...no sync. However, after bending the copper contact a tiny bit in the round hole, the controller syncs fine.

(I have 2 launch controllers and have also read that newer controllers do not have this problem)

Picked up 2 Vision Bundles (1 for a friend) @ the TRU in Concord, NC. Looked like they had 3-4 left but not very many headsets.

Still haven't decided if I'm gonna keep the headset I bought yesterday or not. I've had one before and the quality was noticably worse than the wired headsets. Maybe those ass-ugly Halo 3 headsets will go on sale again soon somewhere.

I didn't find anything live related at the Knoxville, TN store. Pretty lame as my live expires next week and I've been looking for a decent deal.

I'm bout to run out in a little while to try and grab a Vision Bundle, anyone have any experience using the wireless headset with Rock Band?
still not sure if I'm keeping the headset...
Same here. I've read some reviews, some good and some bad. What seems to be consistent is Microsoft's bad customer service. If you have a problem with your headset, they recommend that you send it to them for a replacement, which could take anywhere between 3-4 weeks, assuming they don't forget about you.

I'm just going to return it. I've had no problems with the wired headset, and I'm not about to jinx myself now.
