ooo that sux

first order came today
second's coming tomorrow

have $8 for my third

and when i get like $10... can i get an amazon gift certificate

is so how?
Congratulations! If you have referral cash, then you are allowed to purchase an Amazon Gift Certificate. Unfortunantly, if you have points, you can't.
Grrr... Zack & Wiki is still pending after three days. Sent a ticket. Ah well, gives me more time to finish SMG, I guess.
Hope it gets approved soon. My order will come Nov. 19th. Unfortunantly, it'll be monday (after weekend). :p

I had a few e-mail conversations with one of the tech support people. He fixed the website so people like me who were getting that weird error that said I was out of the US can now register.
wow... im still really confused about why my second order of 1600 xbox live points shipped before my first order of 1600 xbox live points...

woerdensliesje, u think u can clear this up.. my account is DrazenX
Since both orders contains exactly the same product I don't think it is really a big problem when your second order arrives first?
Same for me...not getting any help on their support forums, and can't get in touch with one of their live representatives.
We were working on it.This problem should be solved now. If not, please contact us (points2shop) in a ticket or by email.
I give up. I can't get this site to work. Out of 42 offers/surveys done only 2 have credited. Based on the reactions in this thread I thought points2shop was going to be a worthwhile site. Instead it turned out to be a colossal waste of my time. Thanks anyway.
Maybe this can clear things up, otherwise you can contact us (points2shop) to have a closer look at it:

Non tracking issues can be caused by one of following reasons. Make sure you check them all to see if there is something that might cause your issues.

* You did not wait long enough for the credit to come through.
* You are already in the sponsors database (your information or even your IP address is already in their system).
* You have a program blocking your cookies.
* You have already completed the offer before.
* You provided inaccurate information when completing the offer.
* You used an incorrect link to complete the offer.
* You did not follow the instructions correctly, like not filling out any forms properly.
* In case the offer is a trial, you may have canceled the trial so the advertiser reversed your lead due to bad quality. When you do choose to complete a trial offer, give it a real shot.
* You used the AOL browser or used any optimizer tools like Google Optimizer
* You have AOL as your internet service provider. Due the way AOL works with IP addresses, we cannot guarantee that offers will track properly
* The sponsor did not credit us for your lead for a reason we do not know, if they do not credit us, we can not credit you.

Thanks Spike!

Nice, moogle. Xeorm, if you haven't done so already, you can do what moogle did and hopefully get that sorted out. I also saw some new offers that were added today, as well as a new option. Apparently, you can sort your offers through "Best Performing". I don't know what this is, considering the amount people that got credited for different offers are all over the place. This feature might not be working yet, but time will tell.

Also..

This is strange. It's being shipped 2nd Day Air, however, it's arriving on the 19th. Hm.. Oh, hell no. I think MoH: Heroes 2 got delayed in shipping. Dang.. No wonder it's arriving 19-20th.

I just did an survey and have been credited. But at the end of the survey I'm being offered a $500 Best Buy GC for fulfilling two offers. Has anyone else done these? Do they work? Any reason not to trust it? Thanks.

hey guys.. I was on the site doing some offers.. and they're going through well.. anyway got a message from P2S and they now are unable to do free shipping on orders under $25 =( I put in an order a couple days ago, so I wonder now if my order now will have to go back and get shipping points on it. I hope now that'd be scandalous haha

Just got that message too.

One of the last sentences in the message states "This change will be in effect starting tomorrow.". So yes, you're safe! That kind of sucks.. but then again, you can order multiple things to total up and over $25, so it shouldn't be that hard. I'm wondering what the shipping will be though for additional costs. Will it vary, or will it be 750 points (I believe that's how much it is for additional).

OMFG

first my second order turns out to be some lame dvd that i didnt order. The receipt didn't even say points2shop and was supposed to be ordered to the US embassy of Tokyo. WTF indeed. Then they say they charge for shipping. Two downers in the period of 15 minutes.

WTFWTFWTF do i do.

well points are hard to come by for me lol, doin a ton of offers and I've totaled up to about 2700 points.. that's work! I don't know what to get now.. I need to make another order now before the shipping starts! ahh

I'm guessing they got in trouble for using Amazon Prime for their customers or something. Their free shipping for orders over $25.00 is Amazon's standard ground shipping that takes like two weeks to show up...

Whoa. So wait, the second order (which was shipped first and arrived) was a DVD, not the 1600 XBOX LIVE Points Card? And yeah. It's unfortunate they have to do this. I guess Amazon was losing money.

whoops i typed it wrong

my FIRST order which shipped SECOND turned out to be A DVD instead of a 1600 XBOX LIVE points card

Is the DVD worth more than the XBOX Live Card? What type of DVD was it? Is someone ordering PRON? :O Either way, I'd file a support ticket.. but that's just me.

So I got this message the other day:

admin (2007-11-14 04:14:47) Dear Member,

We have reviewed your account and feel we need to collect additional information. We are wondering why the location from where you logged in does not match the address you currently live.

Please take note that your account is NOT closed at the moment and this situation will not affect your balance or orders you might have placed at this moment.
Please provide us the additional information. Thank you.

Kind Regards,

Points2Shop.com

I replied saying that I had been behind a proxy, and that may have caused the problem. However, I got this response back:
woerdensliesje (2007-11-14 17:50:14) Hi,

Actually your login location is different every time you login but it is always far away from your home. Do you use a special connection?

With kind regards,

Annelies de Bruijne

What the hell? Anyone else had this problem? My ISP is Verizon Wireless, which COULD be the cause, but it still seems odd.

i filed a support ticket. They said they go ask amazon about what to do. They better give me some compensation.

The DVD was a movie called the Lives of Others. lol not what you thought it might be. And it is worth exactly the same as the Live Card. But this wasn't a points2shop order.. since it didnt say Points2Shop on the receipt. It was some random guy's that got sent to me instead.

Blagh, really sucks that they don't offer free shipping anymore, but I guess putting out 2-3 orders a day for 2 day shipping woulda cost a fortune for Amazon since it is usually made for people who order that much stuff in a year.

We (points2shop) have to send an email to Amazon. They probably send you the wrong product by accident. We will let you know if we hear more from Amazon.

Yeah, we aren't so happy with it either. But I can imagine that Amazon doesn't make profit any more if we order 20-30 orders a day (that is more like the amount, and it is growing every day). Let's hope people do a lot of offers and be able to order products over 25000 points with the free shipping.
Just ordered Condemned for 2000 points but on the Amazon website it says $30... I hope I don't get denied.
About your order, we don't have to deny your order if you are willing to pay the additional 1000 points. You can also cancel your order and order something else instead. You can let us know about your choice in the ticket we sent you (otherwise this forum is going to look like a supportforum and I don't think the moderators are happy with that:))

Btw, I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions on how we can improve our website.

Congratulations on ordering Condemned, Muffinman! Woerdensliesje, It's a real shame. That's pretty much what Amazon Prime is for.. to get free shipping. Oh well. How much does it cost for additional shipping costs? Does it fluctuate or is it a standard point value of (say.. 750)?

I literally just got 11 full pages of negative points of offers (from referral). The first few said "Cheater in Downline", however, the rest just have no note, and the offer just shows "-5.93943 or whichever it is. Could you please explain? Does this also mean that there was a Cheater in my Downline or were the points deducted for another reason? :)

Unfortunately we had to put under review all offers of someone in your 3rd referral level. He did a lot of offers. He isn't blocked but his account is under review what means that you will receive all that points back within 2 months if his leads appears to be good.

We are not active on this forum all the time so if you have a urgent question next time you can better write a ticket on our website. Have a nice day.

Ow, and the standardshippingcosts are 7,50.

Sounds like a CAG or a friend of a CAG tried to cheat the system.

Damn you Amazon, you are being a bitch this weekend. First you deny free shipping to points2shop and then you up the price on Condemned... Eh, I am not sure what to do. Not many of my offers are going through now and I don't want to pay $30 for Condemned. Maybe I will wait till Sunday since it doesn't matter anyways if you order on weekends and see if the price drops a bit.

I have a suggestion that I posted on your forums, but I'll copy it and post it here.
--------------------------------
I think a program where you can convert cash (I'm talking about our own cash) into points OR being able to make up the difference in cash for a product on Amazon.

For example:

Someone has 3999 points in their account and they don't have any offers left that they are interested in. They are really wanting a $60 game which would equal 5999 points, but they are 2000 points short or $20. So they would be SOL unless they could buy $20 worth of points or they could just pay the difference.

So the game would be $59.99, they have 3999 points on the site which equals $39.99. When they goto the checkout process they just have to pay the $20 difference and they are good to go.

That makes things easier on the member, I would be glad to pay $10 out of pocket for a $40 or $50 item if there was a way for me to do it on here.

I'm sure many will do this even if they have no points to get free shipping

We think this is a great idea. We suggested it to Amazon. They have to agree with it first. Let's hope they will.

Awesome.

If they approve of it, which I wouldn't see why they won't since they would still be getting money, maybe even more than they would otherwise.

I know I would be the first to do this if it gets approved.

Well, they can be afraid that we 'steal' their customers and maybe even become eligable for discounts if we keep growing. Maybe they rather keep their own customers for theirselves. But we hope they see that we bring in new customers for Amazon.

Do you guys actually put your real info when doing offers? or do you use fake info?

I've been trying to do a lot of these offers, but they all require me to put in my address and things, but i don't want to. I tried using fake info, but it's never accepted.

An help is appreciated :)

If you put in a fake address, the survey company automatically reviews it to see if it's real. If it isn't, it is automatically rejected.
