Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Damn none near me. Is the brickseek monthly sub worth it? I know you have it and I’m debating the $10 a month one.
I've found the $10 a month one worth it personally, I don't think I'd pay for the more expensive one unless you are hardcore deal hunting, the brickseek app for quickly scanning and looking items up is also pay walled behind having the $30 account, not sure if there's a free alternative (thought about just making a quick barcode app that pops the brickseek link up when scanned)

I’ve been looking but can’t find an alternative to the brickseek app. Thanks for the info I’ll give the $10 one a shot and see how it works

Yeah me either, I haven't tried getting the APK and using my regular account on it, but when he was working on it originally I know it was paywalled behind the 'Extreme' membership. TBH i have a lot of signal issues inside Targets also for some reason so not sure the app would help me that much there either way, seem to always lose data

It’s a real, er, jerk-off, at Walmart these days.

4oz packages of Nabisco Cookies down as low as 10 cents at my stores.

Chips Ahoy: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=20897680

Oreo Double Stuf: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=20897679

A pound of cookies for 40 cents is pretty crazy. My fatass doesn't need any more cookies tho so best of luck to everyone else.
Damn, my store has the oreo double stuffs. Really trying my hardest not to snack and eat better but may have to grab some. Trying to have more willpower

Can I pull the same shenanigans as people did in the Target thread and start screeching about how this is not for food clearance? REEEE I DON'T NEED FOOD, I WANT VIDEO GAME DEALS, THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH AMERICA #MOREGAMESLESSGLUTTONY #NOTMYCLEARANCE

Oops forgot to post those, picked up a pack of the chips ahoy with my jerky, good deal if you can survive eating that many cookies

We've talked about it in the past and generally agreed that most people wanted all clearance deals not just games

Most of us here aren't 16-20 and still live off of our parents. Most appreciate the 70% off posts on home supplies just as much/if not more than games. Basically all games drop down at least to $20 so a $200 off a $280 vacuum post is a far more valuable post to many.

Think he was just bein silly about it

I hadn't tried them before, bit on the buffalo style last night and they are indeed pretty dang good, waiting for a local store to drop deeper still at 1.50 here locally
They've been one of my "go-to" snacks for a while. I personally think that the Supreme and Pepperoni flavors are better, but the Buffalo is still quite good. They're $1.50 locally, but for me, that's great, because I've grown accustomed to paying the $3.99 price tag - hopefully we see 50 cents here soon.

Yeah, Everyone eats, so why not pick up some clearance food/snacks while you're out picking up clearance games ^_^

jesus.

uninstall.

60 of the Oreo's and 15 Chips Ahoy at the local store.  Almost worth picking up just to take to social functions where I'm supposed to bring something.

A cool 200 packs of oreos and another 40 of chips at my local store. Definitely don't need them but it would be hilarious to walk up to the register with a cart full of nothing else.

Cheap ass gamer is turning into cheap ass house wives that needs their roomba vacuums to suck up all the Doritos crumbs. Probably cuts all the coupons out too. Two wives won't last long.

My store shows 300 in stock. I went with the full intention of buying an embarrassing amount for work.... but none were to be found.

Had the same issue with the Pepperoni Jerky last night - none in sight. That being said, I don't typically shop for groceries at Walmart and wouldn't be surprised if there is a certain aisle or location for clearance/discount food that varies by store.

I couldn't find the 60 packs of Oreos at the local store either.

To be fair, I didn't try too hard to find them, as we're being bhit with brutal cold and snow flurries and whatnot.

Quantity still shows 60 today.  Hopefully I can take a better look in the next few days.

Fwiw I found them by the registers, they appeared to be in carts being prepared to move into the back though, everything in the cart with them was deeply discounted

Plus if people start to complain, we'll get that one guy coming in to recommend they buy clearance-priced tampons.

Seriously, though. Wal-Mart is a general merchandise store... they don't JUST sell video games. Might as well take any deals they offer... whatever's convenient. (Just not those nasty-ass packets of bubble gum latte they were selling for fifty cents each. Makes me slightly barfy just thinking about it.)

People were seriously complaining about overall deals in this or the target thread??

Please do NOT stop posting clearance deals of all kinds. I love it! Target and Walmart have so much more than video games, it would be silly to just discuss those.

Thank you to all who are posting these random deals.
FWIW Brickseek has been 0/15 for me this month alone in 5 stores.
Did find these which were labeled as OOS on brickseek for 30. Every deal I've found this week is labeled OOS on brickseek. I actually go for something "in stock" which is never there and I always find something else.

When people see "in stock" not "limited stock" how often do you ask an employee about it if it isnt on the floor? I stopped doing that a while back.
I usually just chalk it up as a loss, I did luck out on my toaster oven I bought last month though, target employee went and checked the back and found the last one they had in stock and brought it out for me. It's important to remember that on a lot of items especially stuff that's obviously a huge deal, you probably are not the first person to show up asking about it, and it's likely they already did check the back and it's not there, acting like a dick and pestering them to look won't make it magically appear, keep your cool can't win em all

Everything is gaming related. These are the snacks we eat, the microwaves we heat them in, the chairs we sit in, and the TV stands we hide our embarrassing FFXV designed consoles in.

Guess I just don't understand why it would be a huge deal to have another specific area for general merchandise deals...oh, wait...hmmm.

But seriously, I will say it's always disappointing when I see this topic at the top of the page and of course I hope we're about ready to start another nice round of clearance...and...yeah...nope.  However, when the greater community speaks, they speak, and it seems we're mostly ok having non-gaming deals in the gaming section as opposed to the non-gaming section.  I'm more of a stickler for organization but I can understand the convenience of having it all in one place.

I feel the same way. I prefer a 'clean' and organized thread topic, though there have been several deals I've found solely because of this thread and the target one as well.

No prob, I thought about picking it up but I already have the 1.5+2.5 and 2.8 final prologue releases so don't think I gain anything new from it?
Nothing new, same two discs in one BD case with a hinged tray inside.

Where do you find stores with these prices? The past few days people are posting electronic prices that are super low. I check dozens of stores over several states, that don't exist. Are you paying for BS premium, where one out of 10,000 stores has that price?
