Wario Ware Wii in Time magazine!(Tennis and Zelda details also)
Yeah, cause playing with Madden when taken litterally is just so damn fun sounding.

Ice Hockey was one of my favorite NES titles. My friends and I never got it confused with the real thing. I'm also guessing turning on a game system while holding a controller and saying "Anyone want to play tennis?" would get the point accross.
True - guess it all depends on the prior expectations associated with certain words. Calling sports games just by their names would certainly go along w/ Nintendo's "simplicity" model.
So you'd say "Let's go play some Tennis"? Too confusing with the real thing, and such a suggestion to bring people into real physical activity would certain garner looks of complete and utter revulsion.

Better just call it "Wii Tennis" to avoid making people confused.
Depends on the context. If I'm sitting in front of a TV and say 'lets play tennis', I think I'll be understood. But if I'm standing in a country club on a tennis court with rackets and tennis balls next to me and say 'let's play some tennis', i may be misunderstood.

But since when do people play both video games and real tennis?

I can do the former, and fail miserably at the latter. So there are people who at least try!

Just awesome.

I'm pretty damn excited for this thing now. It's interesting to see a volley shot off before the Sony conference followed by what I'm assuming is a blitzkrieg on Tuesday.

E3 is going to break the internet.
None did.... he might be confusing it with the Xbox version of Tony Hawk 3, which was released a few months after the GC and PS2 versions of the game (though it did contain some extra features).
Tony Hawk to me is just the most prolific 3rd party non-sports game that I could think of. But ya'll got my point.

Anyway, I've never looked forward to a system launch as much as I've been looking forward to the Revol........ Wii's. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm buying Time this week.

Thanks for playing, Sony. It's been fun. I haven't felt this giddy about a videogame product in a long time. This is going to be a whole paradigm shift about how games are played and developed.

This is so immature.....

You mean I can use my Wii controller to smack balls around?

I had to say it. I'm sure I am the first.

I don't think I'd like to use it to catch fish, though.

Man.
If they can get the motion detection down to running around on a mat or living room, we can have a awesome Virtua Tennis. lol.

But the Wii is naturally attracted to fish. (I'm gonna get in trouble for that, aren't I?)
Right, because that's what Kidtendo's audience wants.
Surely there's a market out there for soft, rubber Wii parts. (I'm on a roll!)

It's funny that Tennis seems to be the most fun out of the three games he played. We've come full circle folks, we're back to Pong
