I picked up Metroid Prime Trilogy yesterday. The price on the shelf said $49.99. But the price in the computer said $24.99. Kind of awkward, picking up a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy while a whole bunch of teenagers and frat brothers were hanging around waiting for the midnight launch of Modern Warfare 2. It was even more awkward considering I arrived there at 7:30 PM. (all those guys had a bit of a wait left)
I am sorely tempted to drop by again and pick up Punch Out. It's one of those games that I wouldn't pay full price for, but $24.99 is drawing much nearer to my threshold. Aw crap, and Resident Evil 5 as well?! GameCrazy is holding my wallet hostage.
I had a somewhat similar experience a couple of days ago. The two copies of Metroid Prime Trilogy were both marked at $49.99, but the worker there graciously checked for me to confirm the sale pricing. Even he was surprised at the drop and admitted that the second copy left in the store would likely be his

I wonder why the prices weren't updated on the physical stock at our stores - bad intra-store messaging? In any case, I'm happy for the deal.
Oh, and I just have to mention that if you guys and gals are at a GameCrazy getting MPT, get Metroid Prime Pinball for the DS, too. I don't know how much it is used there, but it's SO AWESOME that you need to get it, even if you don't like Metroid. You can thank me later
