You can't price match GTA:SA at Best Buy and use a GGC because the coupon expired yesterday. Unless, they make new ones every year, but I don't know about that.

Thanks for posting Wario. Do you have any details on the "additional $5 off video games with the reward zone program" part of the BB ad? Is that good for $5 off all games or just games listed in the ad?

i do have the new $5 off coupon thats expires in 12/31/05. i dont think BB going to pricematch and get the coupon off. i think i tried that last time.

Good deal on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for PS2 at CC. Too bad I picked up the Xbox version already for $10 at TRU. No I'm hitting myself for not seeing that $10 copy of Samurai Warrios (PS2).
 
The Bard's Tale for 24.99 after GGC might tickle someone's fancy. Which is the better version though, Xbox or PS2?

And yes, finally Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for 9.99 at CC.

Anyone have a scan of the packaginng of the best buy gamer gift card? I looked for it last time at my best buy, but I was not able to find one.

Yeah, I have never used one before. I did see some other gift cards there but they did not seem to be the right one. Plus they did not have a coupon inside.

As far as I know they're identical, and reviews seem to indicate that. I'll be getting the PS2 version, because A) I've got a saved game on my memory card from when I rented it and B) I haven't got an XBox! :lol:

Definitely worth $25 of my money, this one. Even if I am currently playing through the Commodore 64 version of The Bard's Tale. :) :shock:
 
Here's a link to a picture of the $5 off $20 GGC for 2005. Not all stores carry these this year.

GGC for 2005 - $5 off of $20

The deal with the GGC is as follows. All stores carry the PS2, Xbox, and EA $5 off of $30 cards.

Some stores carry the generic $5 off $20 cards. But NOT ALL.

It varies from store to store. For example, I live in Upstate S.C. and the Anderson store has all the giftcards. The Greenville store only carries the $5 off $30s. If you ask the G'ville employees about the $5 off $20s they'll act like they don't know what you're talking about. This is very interesting since last year around April both stores carried the regular GGC's. Then all of the sudden every GGC from last year disappeared from Greenville and were replaced with GGCs from the year before that had expired coupons.

Something's up with the distribution and display of these GGCs. I don't know if it is based on different markets, store sell-though, abuse level, or manager's discretion. Fortunately, although I work in Greenville, I live close enough to the Anderson store to make a trip over there. I just bought 10 of the $5 off $20 cards last night and put a $1 on each, just to have the coupons when I needed them in Greenville.

Some BB stores are not stocking the $5 off $19.99 GGC's, in favor of the $5 off $29.99 PS2/XB/EA ones.

Two BB's I've been to this weekend haven't had them on the shelf, and I'm always on the lookout for them. If I see them, I'm going to pick them up.
 
can anyone confirm that the 5 dollars off any video game is stackable with the GGC?

oh, and FYI... my BB has about 25 of the 05 20 dollar GGC's (the one shrike took pics of) and i plan on getting them all! possible hookups!

I've been using the 2005 GGCs since October, so yes, they're definately out there. For anyone in the Surprise, AZ area, that BB always has them.
