all i can say is im going broke this week
I hear that.
Me too.
I visited a Target today, and the price of Wind Waker used to be $49.99. It's a huge ass rain check if it did turn out to work, but I highly doubt it. They also had about 20 PC copies of the game.
Yeah, I called the store and they said that the regular price was $49.99, but that they had 30 copies of it in stock. So I'll call again on Tuesday/Wednesday to see where they're at and if they price is holding up.

Just go up to the customer service desk with the sku # and they will print you up a raincheck no questions asked and that will tell you the % off.

they had 2 copies of it here and i was thinking about buying both of them to get rain checks. Sadly all the games are 19.99 they said it be nationwide by monday or tuesday

Even if it takes until next Saturday, I'd wait to get the 60% off raincheck. Since this is the first time Target dropped the price to that cheap, it should sell rather quickly, I'm hoping, but we'll see.

Well went to customer service, tried the raincheck, but the number of the game off the website wouldn't work. So no luck yet for me.

Red Dead Revolver nets a $25 trade in credit at FYE, so that would be worth $10 extra if you pick up the PS2 version at BB for $15 after GGC.

Yes, I know FYE's prices are ridiculous, but thought someone might be able to benefit out from it.

I just picked up a number of rainchecks for Zelda for 67% off. These rainchecks, however, don't show the substitution policy anymore.

Can someone explain this to me? is it possible to get a raincheck if the game is in stock? Can I goto Target and look at the games in the ad, see which aren't in stock and ask for a raincheck? how would I know which one is worth most, since I don't want to ask for like 3...

Same thing happened to me . . . thought I hit the jackpot . . . then I noticed that the substitution policy is missing. I picked up one for Full Spectrum Warrior at another Target . . . just to see what it was. It came out 6% discount  but that one had a substitution policy.

I think even I would feel like I was stealing if I used a 67% off raincheck. The 45% ones didn't seem so bad :D

My guess is that the system rejects the substitution policy at some percentage threshold. Too bad!

Im picking up Midway ARcade Treasures tomorrow. DOnt know what console yet though. Also im picking up George Carlins new book "When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?"
Well, it won't hurt to try. The worst that they can say is no.
I wonder if they are going to change the price of Wind Waker in the system? I wish it were dropping from $29.99 for the sale . . . then a 44% raincheck would spit out . . . I'm happy getting $50 games for $28 :D

If the price stays $50 and my store continues to be out of WW . . . I'm going to try a point-of-sale substitute at 67% off (I've done that in the past (for 44% off), like on FFX2 . . . you don't need a raincheck) tomorrow on Paper Mario . . . I think the guy who is on duty on Wed. afternoon is a cool young guy who might put it through.

I think I might jump on that Gamecube system with 10 dollar gift card, then use the gift card sunday to buy Tales of Symponia for 25 bucks.
