Greg Hasting's Tournament Paintball, not Pinball

Fooled my GF into telling me she got Budokai 3 when I announced it was down to $30. She bought it from there a couple of days back for 50 - GGC. Would she be able to go back there and price match it down, or something?
She can go back, show them the receipt (might have to bring the game along too) and the ad, and they should refund the difference. But they can only do this for a week. Otherwise, just have her return it and buy it again.

Thanks again Wario. Nothing for me this week (thankfully!).
A week? I thought it was 30 days.

It was 2 for 30 not just 1 and if anything that's the demo, and if it's the demo, that's way over priced, unless it's 15 bucks down as a preorder and you get the demo, either way it's a typo.

For those of you who don't know what the hell is going on, Sunday's bestbuy ad has a rather standard "2 greatest hits for $30 promotion." One of the gamecube games pictured is Resident Evil 4, which is obviously a typo since the game is not out yet (1/11) and the prices are only valid until X-mas eve.

Can this be exploited at all? probably not. This is a pretty big error firstly, and I imagine most stores would be aware. The only possible angle would be to take the game to the register when it comes out and when it rings up for the standard $50, whip out this sunday's ad, and ask for the advertised price. Of course only the most gullible/stupid clerks would neglect to check the printed promotion dates/actual game, but it is worht a shot.

At BB, X-Men Legends for PS2 is on sale this week for $29.99 while the Xbox (and GC) versions are $49.99. Sheesh. Nice pre-Christmas deal for us Xbox and GC CAG hunters. BB's being a Scrooge right before Christmas.

Great. I wanted to get GBA SMB 3 for my little boy for Christmas, but every single Best Buy near me has suddenly and mysteriously exhausted all supplies of the GGC. A trip to Circuit City is now on the cards. Thanks. :D

It's an obvious error in the picture.....good luck trying to exploit the ad. I would not want to be the one in the store as all the employees are laughing at whoever is stupid enough to go there and try to convince them RE4, which is not even out yet, should be sold to them under the 2 for 30 deal. :D
that would be very cool. I played a demo for it and it was great!
I can't wait to get my demo from Capcom. Should have it soon. :D
Goddamn my BB was busy. I picked up Budokai 3, but it took an hour. :x
haha, you should only go there on weekdays before 5 at this time of the year. no lines then
Goddamn my BB was busy. I picked up Budokai 3, but it took an hour. :x
I was there picking up Morriwind 3: Game of the year edition for Xbox and Crimson Skies and the place was a mad house. It was as though it were BF. There was a line snaking all around the building. Thank god I was mistaken and got right behind this one guy in the checkout line and was out after a few minutes.

Are these YMMV? I mosied on over to my local CC here in Minnesota and Metroid Prime II was still listed at 50 dollars.

These aren't YMMV. They are in the ads. There's a good chance they're just not marked. Have a cashier ring it up and it'll be on sale.

Thanks for posting. I think I'll jump Live 2005 and Spiderman 2 for PS2! Might wait for Spidey to go to $20 at BB though to save an extra $5 w/ GGC. I'd get Madden, but I heard it's not much an improvement over last years game. Plus I have ESPN already!

Just wanted to point out something about the BB 2 for $30 deal. The ad says the deal is good for ANY platinum hits game instore or online; anyone else notice that the Tom Clancy Trilogy for XB has the PH logo on it even though it costs $39? Well, I did, and even though the register/computer didn't automatically count it as an eligible title, the clerk was more than happy to adjust the price manually when I showed her the ad. So, I was able to score this:
Tom Clancy Trilogy - $15
Jak 2 - $15

I know this will definitely depend on the clerks at your BB, but it is certainly worth a shot since it clearly says "ALL PH, GC, GC, etc..." in the ad and does not list exceptions.
Will be doing 2 price-matches at BB. Killzone and GTA for Xbox to CC, then use GGC
I always have had trouble doing a PM plus GGC at BB (they consider it trying to combine two offers). I find it is easier to get CC to match the coupon (one offer). Other people have had better luck with BB.

Yes, I would definitely prefer using the GGC at CC over trying to do the same at BB with the PM. CC's customer service takes care of it every time.

I think I'm getting screwed up here. I tried that and it rang up as 52.something or another. On top of that, I saw some of their ads, and Metroid wasn't on it.
