I don't know what it is, but anteaters scare the hell out of me. If I saw one just walking around me I would probably faint. I had nightmares of them when I was little. I don't know what it is, but they're effin crazy looking.

anything that flies and stings (bees, wasps, hornets, etc.). Other than that, I'm okay. I can deal with rabid dogs attacking my leg and even black bears clawing my face... but damn them flying, stinging things! Have 5 extra things of Raid: flying insects just in case.

reminds me of those Maury episodes....

Oh, and I'm afraid of SPIDERS!!

not animal, but more of insect.... Roaches....... shit man I use to live in miami , fl for 3 years and argh my kitchen i would see them pop up when I cook from time to time.

Spiders creep me out. Pretty much any kinda arachnid/bug does. I guess with bigger stuff i'm kinda not as scared. I went bear watching in Alaska and was within a couple feet from the bears. My dad flipped out at me cuz he thought I was gonna get mauled, but I was pretty calm.

Aardvarks are harmless, go and touch one, they can't bite.
As for me, anything that can eat/kill you are my reasonable fears.
Land - Snakes, Lions, Tigers, Leopards
Sea - Sharks (#1 Sea Fear, these boys are serious carnies)I used to be scared of Crocs but after watching some Steve Erwin, i found out the difference between a Croc and Ali, and how to sit on one without getting hurt. Of course knownledge and experience are 2 different things.

I don't like centepides/milipides because when I was little I got bitten by one and it hurt like fuck. I don't think I got stung because it didn't hurt too much and since I was little I would have noticed more.

I remember about 5-7 years back, during the summer when all those shark attacks occured, I saw on WVEC news here where this couple was making a home video of their kids(5-10 year olds) playing in the ocean where the water was breaking near the shore. You could see something at normal speed but when they slowed it down you could see a shark, jaws open, come about 6 inches away from the oldest kid, and noone fucking noticed because the water was so rough at the time that it slipped away under the water. I'm not afraid of sharks but that sticks with me.

That reminds me of that Vonage commercial with that dumb dipshit blonde on the beach...

But dude, their claws are like a freakin' lions. I'm not really scared of them attacking me, but just the site of them freaks me out. ahhhh.

HORSEFLYS!!!!!!

Anyone whos ever worked on a huge farm in the summer knows all about those motherfuckers! I swear to god I have these ones that are like 5 inches long alot of times land on me when I'm working in my grandparents garden, and those fucking things hurt like hell when they bite and they're just plain fucked up looking. My grandparents laugh their asses off everytime they see one land on me cause I start screaming and flailing my arms like I'm on fire but those things creep me the fuck out!
Can Bee's count?

Because they scare the SHIT out of me I tell ya.

DAMN right they do!
That's the only animal I am afraid of.
Raccoons. You have no idea what they're capable of.
I was chased by a racoon when I was lke 10 years old. He obviously didn't want to catch me because he could have easily done so. I guess he just wanted to have some fun.

Also, I saw a fox in my yard the other day(Pretty rare for my area) and I tried to coax it near me, lol.

Nothing scares me. I'm just weary like around bees. With insects, I watch intently and decide the precise moment to kill them. Although, I think I may lose it if I were in the water with a shark. But even then, instead of freaking, I'd probably very carefully try my work my way away from it.

Panickers die in horror movies, hence I don't panic.

Hey can everyone post pics of the animals they are talking about? What the hell is a horsefly?

Anyway....living in the ghetto i honestly am afriad of people more than any animals but for that very same reason i am afraid of all "hood dogs."

Pits, Rocks, shepards etc etc.

Were i live for some reason everyone wants to own these dogs but they dont own a fence to keep them in. Or they tie them up to a tree with like string instead of rope. So these dogs are always fucking running around.

When i was a kid and had to walk everywhere i always kinda half ran every where i went just in case a dog was about to chase me.

ewwwwwwww

Also, Evil, Foxes are quite possibly the cutest animals ever. We see one or two every couple months. About a month ago, we saw a baby fox in our backyard. So cute. It was rolling around like a puppy. I was dying.

'If I saw a shark in the water, yeah I'd be scared but if I saw it on land, I'd be like fuck you shark. It's the opposite case with lions' - DM

bugs. any kind all kinds every single bug. other than them probably snakes just because they move so odd that you dont really know what they are capable of.

Sharks probably, but they don't stop me from going to the beach. I always have bad dreams about being stuck in mucky swamp water with alligators too, so I sorta dislike them. I fucking hate aquatic life.

I fucking hate beetles

That's about it though. Sharks / Spiders / Bees (although I've never been stung) don't really bother me much.

Not really afraid of any animal. I'm most cautious around bears, as they are fast, unpredictable, and often not afraid of humans (not to mention powerful, and deadly).

Black squirels when all the others around are the normal grey. There are freakishly smart and evil.

I'm not scared of them, but I hate 75% of dogs.

The only I think I'd be really scared to see or interact with would be rats. Gross, disease-ridden, sneaky, annoying, squeaky, shaq-fucking hard to catch.

Spiders are tops on my list. They scare the hell out of me. It's so bizarre seeing something with so many legs (but I'm not scared of milli/centipedes, I just dislike them).

And they're always in dark places... and they usually move so quickly... and ugh! I hate them.

I think most things under the sea are pretty freaky. Thinking how susceptible and helpless you are in the water is what makes it so strange. Obviously a shark found scare me to death (and most anyone else), but even going into a lake it's really eerie thinking about fish swimming around me. Not that I'm scared, I'm just kind of creeped out.

Millipedes, Centipedes, and Earwigs/Tree Roaches/Pincher Bugs. Other bugs as well but those three I can't even look at pictures of because they creep me out so badly. Spiders don't really bother me as long as they don't get too close.
