stuff thats too bad/stupid/funny to get rid of?

off the top of my head...

back to the future 3(gen) - this game feels more like a demo. there are only 4 stages, they all somewhat tie into the movie but have no relavence from one level to the next, and the 1st level is INSANLEY hard (go ahead and try it, youll lose at least 100 times)

bad dudes (nes) - i keep this one around just because im a bad enough dude to rescue the president from ninjas

Irrittating Stick (PSX) - I just love the name

Mega Man Soccer (SNES) - Good idea, made awful

Fox Hunt (PSX) - Has anyone else heard of this game but me. It's actually kinda funny.

Doesn't that have one of the Corys in it?

I had the PC version, but it was buggy as hell. The cd would keep skipping (not a scratch on it), making parts of it unplayable.

Moonwalker on Sega Genesis.

If you ever wanted to have a game unintentionally make you laugh your butt off, get this game. Michael Jackson goes around making random screams (Hoooo!!) and doing fruity dances that kill bad guys. I passed on this game a hundred times before actually playing it - Now it occupies a position of great honor in my collection - COMPfLETE. I would recommend this game to anyone who has the slightest sense of humor.

Hmm, I'll have to say M.U.S.C.L.E for nes is by far the most god awful game I have, but it's so bad that it's fun...well for a little while anyway.

Me too. Hilarious game! Don't forget when the bad guys do choreographed dances with you when you do your special moves.
It's a type of game that everyone should play at least once.

How much do you think a complete Moonwalker would cost me? I own Shaq-Fu...several copies....and I think it would be Sacrilicious(not a typo) not to own a Moonwalker.

Oh, and another hilarious game that I would like to own; the Journey game. You all remember that one. Rock and roll, baby....

Oh, yeah, I have Journey Escape for the Atari 2600. Still "works" (as well as it ever did). I think I have the instructions but not the box.

I just love this excerpt form the manual:
"You're on the road with JOURNEY, one of the world's hottest rock groups. A spectacular performance has just ended. Now it's up to you to guide each JOURNEY Band Member past hordes of Love-Crazed Groupies, Sneaky Photographers, and Shifty-eyed Promoters to the safety of the JOURNEY Escape Vehicle in time to make the next concert. Your mighty manager and loyal roadies are there to help, but the escape is up to you!

You must lead all 5 members of JOURNEY through waves of pesky characters and backstage obstacles to the Scarab Escape Vehicle before time runs out. You must also protect $50,000 in concert cash from grasping groupies, photographers, and promoters.

All JOURNEY Band Members - drummer Steve Smith, keyboard player Jonathan Cain, bass player Ross Valory, lead guitarist Neal Schon, and lead singer Steve Perry, are counting on -you- to lead them to their escape vehicle. It won't be easy. As JOURNEY says, "Some will win, some will lose..."

Lester the Unlikely for SNES. Comic book nerd has to save the day, POP style. His animation is cliche nerd and he has this pansy kick as his attack. He also runs away from bad guys without your control sometimes. Hilarious.

A complete Moonwalker runs from $15 to $50 on Ebay. It's one of those games that is completely unpredictable. Seems to spike at Christmas time though more than most.

Another game that captured the joys of both my "High School friends" and my "College friends", who did not know each other and were from different parts of the country, but we all agreed Base Wars on NES was hilarious. The robotic destruction was great, but that one robot who ran (or rolled, I don't remember) with both arms out swinging wildly up and down as he chased down fly balls was hilarious. I own that game only because of that one goofy robot.

Ha ha. Possibly the only place in the world Journey band member names OTHER than Steve Perry are mentioned.

I've got BMX XXX for GC as well. That and two copies of E.T. The Extra Terrestial for Atari 2600. (shudders)

I own BMX XXX for the GC too. I guess that makes 3.

I'm four. I didn't think it was that bad, though. I like Z-Axis' other games a lot (Dave Mirra 2, Aggressive Inline).

My laughably bad game collection:
Slam City w/Scottie Pippen Sega CD (Scottie RAPS in the intro)
Double Switch Sega CD (with Corey Haim and Debbie Harry aka Blondie)
Mary-Kate/Ashley Get a Clue GBC
Simpsons Wrestling PSone
Kabuki Warriors Xbox
Aquaman Xbox (is this rare?)

The trick system in BMX XXX wasn't bad, but the way the goals were setup made it near impossible to complete. The lack of a map or compass really killed it.
bad dudes (nes) - i keep this one around just because im a bad enough dude to rescue the president from ninjas
Silly pirate, you have to rescue the president's daughter, not the president himself.

Yup, I have this game complete too, just for the humor factor. Plus the fact that MJ turns into a silly Transformer type robot to kick ass is just too funny.

I'll also add BoogerMan for the Genesis. Its a about a superhero who has...you guessed it...sinus problems, all of his fighting abilities relate to him using his various body functions. This whole game is offensive in a humorous sort of way...plus the music in it is hilarious too, the soundtrack sounds like it was ripped from a bad 70's porno movie.

I'm sure I own more gems in my collection, but those are the two that I can think of off the top of my head.

i would not consider ET funny. It's just too awful to be called anything

The game i beat just for hilariousness is Giants: Citizen Kabutops. There are a lot of really funny moments, kind of reminds me of Monty Python

I consider it funny I own two copies of what most people feel is the worst game ever! It gets my vote for "Worst Game Ever!"

Obi-Wan for X-Box. Voice actor for Obi sounds like he has bad allergies flaring up. Plus the enemy robots would constantly get stuck on cornors, allowing me to beat them mercilously with my "throw lightsaber" attack.
Pokemon Snap, because deep down everyone desires to be a pokemon photographer
i love that game so much, what a simple concept with near unlimited replayabillity (you can always top your bests)

I'm another Journey Escape-r. For some reason I have a very strong attachment to that game, and come to think of it it really wasn't all that bad.

I've got BMX XXX up on the shelf for the Cube. Never cracked it, only got it when it was 2.99 at EB last December.

Another one that's so bad that it's funny that I still have around is SX Superstar (no surprise it was published by Acclaim), the Motocross Lifestyle and the "Girlfriends" not to mention random physics, all make it a comedic masterpiece.

And intentionally funny games that I've got include Serious Sam (First(PC), Second(PC), Next(PS2) Encounters and Gold (XBox))
Day of The Tentacle Maniac Mansion 2

Shaq-Fu (Genesis)
BMX XXX (Gamecube)

I can't bring myself to paying for games that I know I won't want to pay. Total cost was $5.50 for those two.

A game that I have that is plenty funny and actually worhtwile is Armed and Dangerous fro Xbox. That game just cracks me up everytime I play it or whenever there is a cut scene. Anybody who hasn't played it should.

I love Pokemon Snap, too. It's one of those games you can play over and over again. I think I replay it once a year. The scoring is so unique, and it's great how you keep getting new tools to use to elicit different responses from the Pokemon.

You know who else loves it? Warren Spector, director of Deus Ex.

Giants was made by the same people as Armed and Dangerous. If you liked that i recommend you try out giants

Nope, you rescue the president himself. The arcade version even names him - "president Ronnie". In both versions, the president appears at the end, and it is clear it is the late, great, Ronald Reagan, who invites the dude(s) to go out for a burger.
Pokemon Snap, because deep down everyone desires to be a pokemon photographer
I'm very surprised no one has progressed on this idea yet. It's extremly fun and simple. in fact I have a great Idea. How about "Capcom Snap?" You take pictures of all your favorite Capcom characters in their natural environment. I'd buy it.

Also Pokemon Snap, Puyo Puyo, and Bust-a-Move are the only games my girlfriend enjoys playing.

Die Hard Arcade for the Sega Saturn. I don't even own a Saturn anymore, but I kept it around to play at my cousin's house. Everything in the game is stereotyped.
