What are you listening to? (Music Discussion Thread)

Flux Pavillion's new releases have been on repeat for me.

Recommend Andain for anyone who remembers the song "Beautiful Things" I never realized the rest of her music was great on its own.

Been reminiscing with some eurodance/trance CDs I found from early/mid 2000s, like Robbie Rivera, Deepsky, Plummet, Motorcycle, Above & Beyond etc.,

Found these two songs so I've been listening to them a lot for the past week.

New Found Glory "Makes Me Sick." My 8-year-old has "Party on Apocalypse" on endless repeat, similar to what I did with "Hit or Miss" back in 2000.

I have never heard a sax live before, at least in a band like that. Frickin' sweet.

Almost Constantly:

Black Moth Super Rainbow (Pittsburgh synth psychedelia)

Softball (Japanese all-girl punk rock band.)

Starflyer 59 (Legendary Indie Rock)

At least for the last several months.

I was always a fan of Joy Electric, the Starflyer 59 guy's brother's solo electronic thang.
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Joy Electric like I can't even explain. Ronnie Martin is also a pretty good writer. He did some Christian self help book things that are pretty good. The guy he wrote one of them with is a little...sterile, I guess. Just doesn't seem like he's lived much. Ronnie has.

I wish there was more new material from both of them, but they're older and have families now.

Although since the months have passed since this was first posted, I've been listening to hecka lots of the Descendents and Leftover Crack.
