I'm looking for the CAG perspective on the best XBLA games of all time in your opinion? I got some points and I'm ready to make a purchase.
 
I have Zuma & Carcassone, Zuma when it was 50% off & Carcassone for free. They are right up there as my favorite XBLA games. I gave up on beating Zuma though after I got stuck near the end and it just gets me way too mad. I still play Carcassone online time to time. I am considering Puzzle Fighter, Bionic Commando, or Mega Man 9 purchase, among those I'm most likely to buy if anyone has played (own) those?

One thing I have noticed this generation is that I really appreciate how arcade games can be used as filler in between “must have” titles.

Carcassonne – Even after getting 200/200 I can’t seem to stop playing this game.

Zuma – Still haven’t given up on completing this game. Got the Sniper and Son of Sun achievement this week. :D

After a couple of years, I have finally given up hopes of getting the 2 Million Point achievement.

Ikaruga (try the demo first, it's insanely difficult)

Braid (definitely get this, don't bother with a demo, just buy it)
Alien Hominid (because they fixed it)
Castle Crashers (even if it is broken online)
 
There are really a bunch of great games on XBLA. I buy more XBLA games than I buy retail games. This may be because as I have grown older (wife, mortgage, baby on way), I have less chunks of large time to devote to longer games. My favorites:

Carcassonne
Age of Booty
Braid (amazing)
Puzzle Quest
Pac-Man Championship Edition
Uno
Geometry Wars 1 and 2

Is there a CAG XBLA group of people that play together. I would love to play some of the older games I have not played in awhile.

What CAG needs is actually a game night (or multiple ones) strictly for "old" 360 games that are hard to find good boosterless matches for with high player counts. Like FEAR, FarCry, Splinter Cell, etc., like a couple games a couple nights a week for maybe a month and then majority vote on whatever games get rotated in next.

I host a XBLA night on Wednesdays at 9pm Eastern for Goozex members; we pick one multiplayer game per week. It'll probably be Bomberman Live this week. Gamertag's kevlar51-- if you're a Goozex member, feel free to join up; if not, well... it's free to join! ;)
 
Bomberman Live is my favorite 360 game ever. Just try the demo and I am sure you will love it, it is my favorite game to play online.
