Due to conflicting family schedules we had to do Christmas as a family early this year. I told everyone not to get me anything and instead spend the money on my kids but I still got some stuff...

I got:

$100 Visa gift card
Iron Man on Blu Ray
2 Pairs of nice Unionbay jeans
couple pairs of nice boxers
Band of Brothers on Blu Ray
Dell Inspiron 1525

my kids got TONS of stuff as did my wife...

What did all of you get?
 
I told my girlfriend not to spend too much on me this year, and what did she do?

She got me a PS3 :)
 
So far, $300, 2 movie tickets, and $25 gift card for Panera. The big haul will be tomorrow -- I know my mother went crazy overboard getting me video games (since she made me double check all of her orders to make sure she got the best prices). Off hand, I'm expecting:

Gears of War 1 & 2
Ninja Gaiden DS
Heroes Season 2
Resident Evil & Venom t-shirts
 
So far I've gotten 3 Blu Rays--Eastern Promises, Nightmare Before Christmas and Into the Wild. Will probably get a couple more blu rays and some random stuff tomorrow. Didn't ask for any games.

My family always opens presents at midnight tonight, so I'll get my shit soon enough (though I already know what most of it is anyway, and I bought a lot of it)

I took it a step further and told people not to get me anything. It didn't work, because I already know that I'll be getting gifts from at least four people.

Now I have to figure out how I'm going retaliate. My sister sent me a $50 gift card to Amazon, so I made her card that says "PARITY: Keepin' the spirit of Christmas alive!" and put $50 inside.

Yeah, I'm not really into Christmas.

I did the same thing. I'm at that point where I have the means to buy anything I want, thus, there is nothing I want that I can't go buy myself. Anything I'd like to have is several hundred (or thousand) dollars, and there's no way I'd get anything like that as a gift.

I feel you on that point. That is why I don't really care about Christmas as much because I buy myself whatever I want during the year. Funny thing about the watch I got is the fact that I have been looking at some different ones lately since I didn't really have a nice one to wear and I am happy that I got one as a gift since I couldn't decide on which one I was going to buy myself.

I'm in kind of the same boat. I told my mom about all the good deals (and bought a lot of the games I wanted myself), so I know basically all of what I'm going to be getting. I'm to try out the new Rock Band 2 drumset that I got from the sweet deal at TRU. :p

Friend gave me Prince of Persia 360. Though I did ask for squat this year so I won't be too shocked if I get a bunch of socks or something. Too many damn deals throughout the years, everything I would want I already have.

I did the exact same thing, but was still given stuff. Oh well, gonna open up stuff in a few hours, time to see what I was guessed given.
 
Hmmm, well......I got a bunch of alcholics at night b****ing at me while our store was the only one open and I was the only employee. I caught someone stealing a burrito, and then I got b****ed at some more. Good night, oh...I too also got a rock.

I lost my wife and my daughter lost her mom, due to her mom's own selfishness.

On the upside, the family really pitched in to make this a great holiday for Rachael. She received so many gifts that there wasn't an empty spot under the tree. That's all I wanted was for Rachael to have a great Christmas.

In a shocking turn, I was given a gift bag from Erin's aunts and uncles. Inside, there were FOUR $50 giftcards for Gamestop and a brand new Canon Powershot 590is camera. I am absolutely speechless, as I didn't want anything for myself. This, in addition to Cheapy's gift to the mods and my mom getting me a 16GB iPod Touch, I am in complete and utter shock.

I wasn't expecting anything this year, other than a divorce. What a 180.

I was also given a few cards, a new pen, some fudge, chocolate covered pretzels and a $5 gift card for Subway from my coworkers.
