I got my DC in the mail today from EB. Honestly the DC is like new. The conditiipon is amazing. SO wondering on what games i should get. I know about tales of symponia, and also rez. I have those. WHat else you suggest. I like RPGs, action, adventure and all that stuff. But please no sports games.

I loved Shadowman and Legacy of Kain for adventure games. You can't go wrong with Soul Caliber and Hydro Thunder either. There were tons of great games.

Skies of Arcadia
Grandia II
Jet Grind Radio
Shenmue
Power Stone
Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike
Sonic Adventure 2
Soul Calibur
Mars Matrix
Dead or Alive 2

Skies of Arcadia(my favorite rpg), Shenmue, Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, Power Stone 2, Grandia 2, Soul Reaver, Resident Evil, Jet Grind Radio, Space Channel 5, Crazy Taxi, and Record of Lodoss War
no one mentions marvel vs capcom 2?
Its better on the other systems because the Dreamcast controller is not suited for it. But yeah, MvC2, CvS2 are great.

I would recommend :

Armada
Carrier
Crazy Taxi
Draconus - Cult of the Wyrm
Hydro Thunder
Jet Grind Radio
Project Justice
Resident Evil - Code Veronica
Samba De Amigo
Shenmue
Skies of Arcadia
Soul Calibur
Space Channel 5
Sword of the Berserk

I'm thinking about getting a DS, well I was going to get one untill they were sold out at my target, CompUSA, and EBgames. Anyone know a place that could still have some?

twas a good game. DC had a lot of games that were cheap and good, I liked Blue Stinger, but no one else did.

It runs the best on DC though sadly, with an arcade stick for DC it can't be beat.

Most...Off topic...person...ever.

Dreamcast also has the best console versions of some of last hardware generation's games (Resident Evil 2, Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer, Shadowman, etc.). Typing of the Dead is one of my household favorites as well.

That was pretty funny.

Soul Calibur
Chu Chu Rocket
Sonic Adventure
Last Blade II: Heart of the Samurai
King of Fighters Evolution
King of Fighters '99: Dream Match
Tech Romancer
Project Justice
Zombie Revenge
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Powerstone 1-2
Jet Grind Radio
Dino Crisis
Resident Evil 2
Crazy Taxi
Virtua Tennis
House of the Dead 2/Typing of the Dead
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter: Third Strike
Space Channel 5
Record of the Lodoss War

Those are all the DC games you'll ever need. There are tons of other great ones, but you'd need to import those.

I highly recommend:

Illbleed: a great B-horror style adventure. Unlike other survival horror games, this one has its tongue firmly in its cheek and doesn't take itself seriously, making it a fun game with tons of replay value.

The House of the Dead 2: still the most visceral light gun game on the market

Soul Calibur: still looks gorgeous and plays marvelously after all these years, and the customizable opening movie rocks!

D2: one of a kind blend of RPG, survival horror, adventure, MGS style cinematic storytelling, and *gasp* hunting game!

Chip your DC to play imports. There are tons of gems not released in the US:

- Sakura Wars 3: there will be a PS2 port, but it will be nowhere as good as the DC original if the PS2 remake of the first game is any indication.

- Hanagumi Columns 2: great Tetris clone featuring the cast from Sakura Wars 2, with tons of playing modes.

- Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon + DX, you get both the original and DX version in 1 package, and this is an arcade perfect port unlike the poor PS2 port

- Gundam Battle Online: still tons of fun in offline mode, play either size of the conflict and receive upgrades as you progress through the campaign

- Frame Gride: from the makers of the Armored Core series, this is basically the same game in medieval/fantasy setting, with your mecha now looking like armored knights and able to cast deadly spells instead of raining lead upon all around you.
If you can find it and the keyboard Typing of the Dead is gold.
Highly agreed. I played this with my friends and I love it, although I tend to spaz when you start to type a lot more... but I love this game.. could help you in your vocabulary, spelling, and typing =P.
What's a good price for a used Grandia II?
Wherehouse.com usually has it for $5, but its out of stock.

I liked Blue Stinger too. I got stuck in one part and never went backl to it though.

Jet Grind Radio
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
Hydro Thunder
4 Wheel Thunder
Ooga Booga
Unreal Tournament
POWER STONE
POWER STONE 2
Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi 2

There are too many good games..........cant list them all, damn, this system rocks!

ARMADA! Highly underated game imo, four players, this game is just awesome. Still hoping they finish the second one for Xbox.

Maken X, this game is just insane. Take on the apperance of your enemies, slap rockets back at them with your sword, it's just a lot of fun and reminds me of an earlier Breakdown in many ways.

Test Drive 6, by far my favorite racing game ever, very arcadey, basically the perfect racer.
