What gifts does your employer give? (if you work)

Magehart

CAGiversary!
Our christmas gift this year is one of the visa gift cards and a bottle of Crown Royal.

Anyone getting some nice gifts from where they work?

IF I get lucky, I get to pick one gift valued between $5-$20....its usually candles, mirror, or some other thing that will go to my girl.

Our Principal gave us 2 hours early off from work last monday.......geez whoopty doo. Besides I was sick and took the next few days off anyways.

$50 GC to BB or CC and $10-20 in form of a food place GC and a candy cane. Also we get a Christmas bonus($1000-$1500 pre tax) but it isn't sent to us until march  WTF is that about?

Back when I was a pool guy, you'd get gifts from the nicer people on your route. Best I ever got was a box of chocolate. The guys that worked in the rich part of town used to tell tales of $100 gift cards and cash and the like.

Now, I get jack. Lucky if I even get the day off.

According to Radio Shack, Dec 25 IS YOUR DAY OFF lol... Glad I don't work for them anymore.

From ClearChannel... jack squat, zero, zilch... but if i'm lucky i won't have to work ON christmas.

From the UConn Journalism Department (whom I also work for part time), i got a very nice card, with a 10$ Dunkin gift card. I LOVE Dunkins.
A Christmas Ham or Turkey and Cousins subs for lunch the last day before Vacation starts.
I think on Monday we are getting some sort of food made by the local high schoolers... dry chicken..meh..

Same here, though we do get a portion of our Christmas bonus now. Other than that, we get an office party this Friday and the office closes 2 hours early.

Back when I was 15-16 I worked in a small neighborhood pharmacy, the place was owned by a husband and wife, Bob was his name, he owned SAABs, had a big house with a pool, kids at Harvard, the whole thing.

Chrismas time rolls around and Bob pulls me and this one other girl in the back, tells us that he likes the job we've done all year and that he wants to give a bonus, but we gotta keep it on the downlow because he's not going to hook up every one else. Keep in mind there were only 4 other people that worked there besides the two of us.

Pay day rolls around and there's an extra envelop stapled to my paycheck. "Sweet, it's here". Open it up.....

.....

A pay roll check for 5 bucks.

with taxes taken out.

one week paid Christmas vacation, a shopping bag full of candy for my bf's stocking, & a present I have not yet opened.

Business has been bad again (like the past 3 years).
So we get a big basket of teas and cocoa packets to put in the break room.
But it's better than getting laid off!!!

I work for a small family owned home medical company we get a nice lunch and a bonus check last year mine was for $2500.00 before taxes and I think this year should be about the same. I also get money from most of the people I deliver to and will make about $500.00 to $700.00 from that.

Used to get a $10 Gift Certificate to the local grocercy store that I used to work at......so they weren't really out too much, since they were just giving us money that we had to spend back at their store.

Christmas party with free beer and food (held last Friday night). It's actually pretty generous of my boss. I work for a government office and it comes out of my boss's personal money. Most other departments get jack.

Last year we got $50 dollar Target giftcards.
Havent got anything specifically for Christmas, but we did get pretty decent profit sharing checks this week. Just over $350!

You torched the place right?

When I was about 12 or so a elderly neighbor asked me to help him remove the shrubs that went around the perimeter of his yard, he said he would pay me.
The whole time I'm working I'm thinking of all the things I want to buy at the store. I'm thinking the smallest amount I'll get is $10.

Well 30 shrubs/bushes & two hours later. He hands me two mutha fucking quarters. :bomb:
I still hate that old bastard to this day.

i got a better christmas gift from goodwill than i did from gamestop... which game me extra late and early shifts for christmas

My supervisor's supervisor has always given out fruit at the Holidays. He goes and gets a big box of grapefruits, oranges, tangerines and apples, Our "BONUS" is to get some fruit.
Whoopti-freakin'-do!
Fruit...it's what's for dinner.
Hey look honey. Instead of getting that Christmas cash bonus this year, we got the makings of a Centerpiece!
Wheeeee.

We sort of get some food (pot luck). Also get an extra 8 hours of pay and the employee discount has been increased to 20% until Christmas. Glad this is going to be my last year at this place.

Paid week off between xmas and new years. Holiday lunch and a raffle for small prizes. They can't give anything of value away since I work for a public university- but the week off is worth a week's pay so not too shabby.

Did you throw the quarters back in his face and send glitter flying?

Like that episode of The Simpsons?

I got a $25 gift card to a local grocery chain. I don't know what the Hell to get with it, though...

I asked a co-worker if he got his gift card, and his response made me roar:

"Yeah. I spent all of it on fuckin' beer."

We just had our Christmas party at the St Paul Hotel. We had a raffle for LCDs and digital cameras and such. Then we got a Christmas bonus, in addition to our normal bonuses. Next week, we're having lunch at 11, leaving at noon and getting Monday and Tuesday off, paid.

My job could only get better if I worked at Google.

You punched him in the throat, right?

I've always hated those raffling off of gifts. They should just divide the value and add it to the paycheck :D .

I went to my dads christmas party and they did Family Feud for prizes o_O. Divide the office into teams and let a blood bath ensue. It was kind of random.

I work at a casino,

I got a $25 Wal-Mart gift card and 2 free meals at the casino buffet. We also had a party with free food and booze with a band.

I will trade for OP's bottle of Crown Royal :D
