I'm just curious. Has anybody purchased anything from poypoy before?

I contacted him yesterday about buying SSBM and Animal Crossing for $15 each (his quoted price to me). Then after I asked about their condition, he responded by saying someone else was going to buy them for $18 each and that I could match that. I asked him if that included shipping and he responded by saying that SSBM was already gone and that Animal Crossing (w/ shipping would be $20-$21).

Now I see this new post (made today) and it says he's still got both SSBM and Animal Crossing? I'm confused....

Id be weary from just because $15 for SSBM and AC seems to good to be true. Though the thing I find wierdest, is that he doesnt seem to try and defend himself or answer anyone. :?
 
poypoy, say something man! This isn't looking good for you and your trading future. This could all be a misunderstanding and we're all acting like jackasses about it, but you just letting us talk about it without any replies on your part....it just doesn't bode well for you.
 
Ok, I tried to complete a trade with him my $15 for his Pikmin. I told him that I would send him $15 after he sent me a confirmation #. Then he tells me You send me the $15 and as soon as it gets here ill send Pikmin. Well, I remined him that we must send at the same time because of his lack in feedback. This is the last response he gave me.

"just because you have 20+ pos doesnt mean i can trust you, i mean if push comes to shove i dont have to do the trade."

Well I was only gonna buy pikmin off him so he could get some feedback and that way everyone would know if they could trust him or not, but I guess its not gonna happen. :roll: Since I know I can get Pikmin for $15 or less anywhere else easily.
 
I think he's just a kid, at least that is the impression I get from both his writing style and the number of separate threads he has started in the trading forum. Caveat Emptor, people...
 
Same thing here, he wanted ME to send first, like that would ever happen. I told him if he ever gets more feedbacks than me, I'll send first. His reply? "how many is that?" :lol: For the hell of it I told him 21 (I have 20). His reply? "okay get back to you." :shock:

I'm starting to think that this is a joke account or a really, really horrible attempt at scaming.
 
yea, and all these post? he should actually be "#1 hidden scammer" yes, i got all these post and wont put them all together, hes got a world record of post per trade forum. CONGRATS POYPOY! and you never got back to me on those items i PMed you.
