what is the dumbest purchase you have ever made? i made a really dumb one this weekend and i need to feel better...

i lost a the second disc to a video game i was playing and i searched for about a month maybe even longer.. i really wanted to finish the game so i purchased a new copy and opened it up and about 5 minutes later i found the second origianl disc..... so i ended purchasing 2 sets of one game for full price each time... good job me.....]
hopefully my nice and wonderful boyfriend will trade me one of his games for my extra copy

Oh and my worst purchase ever was a joystick I payed $80 for so I could play some dog fighting game better than with my mouse, turns out I hate useing joysticks and its been sitting in its box for the last 8 years.

paying $50 for an incomplete sega cd system

also paying $50 for the hulk on xbox on release day. good game just not worth that much

Oh man, I don't even know if I want to give details but since you asked: I was at a small gas station when I was a kid and I wanted to buy a candy bar with a 20 dollar bill, but the lady said they couldn't break the bill cause it was to big. So I asked her if she had a 5 dollar bill and that I would just buy it from her for 20! So I didn't then I bought the candy bar.

Embarassing but the kind of thing you can laugh at later, I mean its kinda funny and you only lost $15, I've taken bigger hits on a round of blackjack.

when pokemon was big, i got sucked into it... seriously i probably spent from $750-$1,000 or more....

i mean once the mall started selling packs of Japanese pokemon cards for like $10 each, i probably got like 1 or 2 a week for several months :(



also wrestling men..... when Wrestling was big i collected the WWF action figures... i had around 40 of them, and they all cost around $8 or more

Buying Highlander 2: The Renegade Edition for 6 bucks. I really thought they might improve this film. There was a reason it was six bucks. I couldn't make it throught the first 15 minutes.
 
I once spent about 25 bucks on some GBA games on ebay and they turned about to be nuthin' but cards. I felt so stupid I tried to complain to eBay and put the blame on the seller instead of admitting that it was my own ignorance and total lack of common sense. I mean, SURE, it was obvious that the photo was showing cards, but what the hell do I know. I'm just an ignorant jack-ass that's too lazy to do ANY research whatsoever. Oh well. Boy is my face red.

yeah too late now, but the bad karma had to get that lady. Damn I was just a kid, so long ago.
 
i once gave a bum $20 when i was like 10 because i thought he looked hungry and for all iknow he spent it on video games err i mean drugs

I used to collect baseball cards when I was a kid. My favorite player was Vince Coleman. I ended up trading a bunch of valuable rookie cards for Vince Coleman cards. That didn't work out very well for me.
