Take the quiz:
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/special/issues/caucus/quiz.html

It's a brief and simplistic poll but it gives you an idea of where you stand politically (just in case you couldnt figure it out yourself)

Apparently I lean a lot more Democratic then I thought:

I'm exactly where you think I am.

I fucking hated the questions they asked, and worse yet, hated being forced to choose between two bullshit answers.

Quoted for fucking Truth!

As if any of those issues had one of two possible responses. In fact I'll go as far to say that that quiz is an example of everything that is wrong with our political system and the government in this country today. Ugh.

In politics, there's only two sides of the fence. I thought you guys knew that.

( )

These questions suck ass, and I can't figure out how to copy the image address. Oh well, I was independent who apparently leans to the right on everything but immigration.

I screenshotted and cut that part out

QFT. I couldn't finish the quiz. On many questions I just couldn't answer either way they offered. For example, the questions about Iraq are incredibly simplistic.

Independant
1-4 Left to Right
Iraq - 2
Economy - 3
Terrorism - 3
Immigration - 2
Moral Issues - 1

The other test scored me a Libertarian.

Extreme left on everything except immigration. I find it amusing that being against immigration is a "right" issue when a lot of rich Republicans love what the illegals are doing to their businesses.

You hit the same thing with stem cell research, the right is moraly against it but certain rich individuals see economic benefits.

I'm far left on morals and Iraq while far right on immigration.

Pretty much where I thought I would be. Acutally, a lot more to the middle than the pic indicates, but the quiz was skewed in such a way that you have to have either a little left or a little right in each category.

Morals are much more subjective regardless of what people think and change with the times. You have a quiz like that 50 years ago and replace gay marriage with interracial marriage and the ideas of morals then would be just as varied among people.

They should have had a death penalty question as that is still a huge issue IMO.

Though they both suck and ask loaded questions.[/quote]
