What type of computer..

I wanting to get a new computer just wondering what type of computer you all have (ex. dell, HP, Gateway, custom etc..)

I have a Gateway right now but my next computer will certainly be a Dell.

Not that my Gateway is terrible but I have had some problems with it.

Well I am currently on a PC that was custom built. I suggest going that route so you have multiple options in where you want to upgrade.

If you want to be from a computer company I'd suggest Apple if you can afford it.

I have a HP (with Win ME) and a Gateway (with XP that I currently use). I used to have a e-Machines PC years ago but that was a real piece of crap.

On top of that, you can get a way better computer for cheaper. Using things like fatwallet.com to slowly buy components saves you a ton of money, plus they are usually way better than anything you would get in a pre-built computer.

Have a 3 year old Dell but it has seen upgrades over the past few years. I'll probably build a custom PC a few months after Crysis hits so I can run the game with max settings.

I have a Compaq, mainly because I needed a PC real fast but now everything but the case and motherboard is new stuff I added. So it's kind of half custom and half prebuilt now.

Even though I've changed some things. That power supply is gone. I have less cables now with a modualr power supply, a new mouse, and a fan controller.

I have a Dell laptop and after 3 years the DVD drive is going bad. This will be the last time I buy a Dell. My next computer will be a Intel/Mac Powerbook. That way I can have both Windows and Mac OS X on the same computer.
