The name of my game eluded me for a few years until I saw it in the GI quiz. Renegade was a damn good game and at the time I loved that you could throw enemies off the side of the stage for some cheap kills. It also was a good first rental since it really only had enough gameplay for a rental period. What was your first rental?

Spanky's Quest for the Super Nintendo

don't ask me how i remember that...

It was a Sonic Multi-Pack who's name escapse me. But I remember it had Sonic 1, 2 and Dr. Eggman's Mean Bean Machine all in one.

Can't remember actually, I was 5 or 6, now I'm 20.

Most of my firsts I do remember, I am sure it was an SNES game though.

I used to rent games every friday, so it's hard.

Don't know if it was actually my first, but I do remember renting Dragon Warrior, and the saved name on there was FARTMAN and of course I thought it was hilarious.
I know it was for the NES. Maybe Metal Gear?
HAH~

Mine was Super Mario Bros.

Maybe Bases Loaded... I got it one of the first days they started renting games. It was like $5 for 3 days at blockbuster.

I know it was an snes game but can't remember which one because I used to go almost every weekend to rent something else.

Can't remember back to NES. I think SNES was Super off-road.
DC was Tony hawk
PS1 don't remember.
PS2 City crisis and Burnout 1 which i hated fucking burnout. I did not get the concept at the time. I have burnout 3 now its alright.

I rented a game for the Genesis many many many years ago. It was at this store and I remember my mom would let me rent a game every other weekend. While I may not remember the first game I rented, I do remember the most memorable game.

The crusader of Centy. Anyone who has a chance, try that game out. I think I made it about half way through that game in a weekend because it was just so much fun.

First I remember was Super Mario Kart, but I know that wasn't the first. Most rented was definately Mega Bomberman for Genesis, the local rental place ended up letting me keep it since I had rented it so much.

Wow....Good topic.
I THINK my first game was MC Kids for the NES. I rented it atleast 2-3 times a month. STILL my favorite NES game, and one of my favorites of all time.

That game is jolly, you could reverse gravity and stick to the celing that was insane.

Super Smash Bros. Melee - it was my first and last rental. I rented it to confirm that I would hate the game everyone loves and I was right - I just didn't like it but I have no friends so I only got to play it by myself. I'm sure if I was in college I would think it was awesome. Renting doesn't really make any sense for me because I never know when I'm going to have an hour to play video games.

I can't belive nobody said this yet. U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,B,A, Start.

I got the NES with SMB/DH, Punch-Out, Zelda & and a Nintendo Power subscription and issue with above code. Thanks mom and dad for the best b-day evar!!!

NES Excitebike
I remember spending a lot of time trying to figure out why my custom tracks were not saving.

Don't remember the first rental but i do know the first system i got was the NES and i got Ghost's N Goblins (or ghouls n ghosts, can't remember which was for NES) and didn't stop playing that game. I loved it.

I was 6 or 7... and it was back when meijer use to rent out games & movie......

I think it was Ninja turtles...

I remember just playing a new game then, was the best thing in the world!!! the feelin is gone now... since I buy average 2-5 games a week...
