I need some inspiration as to what I should learn next.

Give me some ideas, folks.

If you want to link the new skill to a new career, that is even better.

The next set of skills I want to learn are circuit theory and data acquisition, but I don't really know how relevant that is to you.

You know, like nunchuku skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills... Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills.

...Gosh

No help to you....but I need to get more proficient with crime mapping and the ArcGIS software. Some current research has been bogged down by depending on others to do a lot of the spatial data work.

Don't know when I'll get time to move above my novice skill level with that stuff, more likely will just be sure to have someone proficient in those skills as an author on the research team on the next project I do that requires mapping work, so we're not left scrambling to find one in the middle of the project.

This IS where the big money is.

Jokes aside another language is always a positive point on any resume.
Computational fluid dynamics or Quantum Electrodynamics. Whatever I find more useful for my studies tbh.
Electro is way, way cooler than fluids, mang.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I have always wanted to learn a martial art, and there's a Gracie jiu-jitsu school near me.
take the plunge. it's scary at first but ultimately worth the time.

good choice on picking one of the only few legit martial arts out there!

btw, i'm also originally from IL and moved to the west coast.
Hypnosis. Make you wife spend less money.
:D :applause:

That may be the one thing FoC hasn't tried on her yet. :D

Hypnosis requires a willing subject. Unless I incorporated Twilight or True Blood or American Idol, she won't be willing.

Also, using a TV show to induce hypnosis could cause a bad reaction considering most TV is brainwashing.

EDIT: That leatherworking looks pretty sweet.

Simple. Apply copious amounts of powder and glitter and, with your shirt off, sing her a song of hypnosis (intersperse random faces of pain for good measure). You're a strapping man, right?

 Sorry buddy, autohotkey isn't exactly a programming language. You might want to take up C or something.

Also, I've been wanting to learn how to weld for a while now. Hopefully I'll learn one day.
