What Xbox 360 Games do you plan on buying in 2007?

With so many good games being released on xbox 360 this year both in stores and on xbox live arcade I don't even know how I am going to afford all these games. I know this is cheap ass gamer, but I plan on buying a lot of games on day 1 for full price (hopefully they are on sale). I just wanted to see what my fellow 360 CAGs plan on picking up this year, and hopefully I am not the only one who is spending a lot of money.

- Stranglehold, Half-Life2 Orange Box, Assassin's Creed (at TRU B2G1, depending on when it is, might swtich out .skate for one)
- Beautiful Katamari (first good deal on it)
- Avatar: The Burning Earth (day 1, no matter WHERE I have to get it)
Maybes(might get it in 2007 or 2008, depending on deals for them):

gonna do the tru thing and try to get halo 3 with bioshock and depending on how long the that sale is mass effect.
 
Right now I am thinking about getting Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, and Halo 3.
If there is a good sale, I might get also get Beautiful Katamari, Mass Effect, and Assasin's Creed.
 
Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect, and possibly Call of Duty 4.

Will probably ask for Half-Life 2, Assassin's Creed, Virtua Fighter 5, and Smackdown vs. Raw 08 for Christmas.

I don't know how many of them I'll be buying in 2007, because once I finally break down and pick up a 360, my videogame budget will be pretty much blown for the year. I preordered Mass Effect from LionGames (as well as GTA IV, but of course that's for 2008 now). I've got lots of older titles to catch up on, and some points built up on Goozex, so that will help waiting on most of the big upcoming titles.

The ones I may not be able to hold off until next year on are Bioshock, The Simpsons Game, and Merenaries 2: WiF. I also really want CoD4, HL2: The Orange Box, and Assassin's Creed, but those will most likely be 2008 purchases.

Why cant publishers space their shit out better. If half of those titles came out in spring/summer I'd have been all over it.

All of my money is going into HD-DVDs and future travel plans so I'll just have to deal with renting my 2 a month for free from Blockbuster.

You do realize you listed both Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata as games you are going to get, and together they are 80+ hours, right? :roll:

Was hard to slim down but its the more practical view. Ill prob end up getting 9 out of the 18 listed. Already have Madden, Bioshock and Two Worlds preordered so 6 to go. If Two Worlds gets bad reviews ill just return it to get Halo 3.

So those buying 15+ games are only expecting to play those games for 10 hours each? Unless you have money to burn or a killer mom, then I cant really justify spending all that money.

Well there are few people buying over fifteen games that have posted in this thread. And I don't really see what ten hours for each game has to do with anything. And people buying many games have listed some will wait for a price drop, while others are renting them. Also, its not like they are buying five or more games a week, they are buying a game or two every other week, which is a reasonable amount of time to play and beat them. So it really isn't all that much >_>

None. I'll buy plenty of those games, but they are unlikely to be cheap enough in 2007. I'd be willing to spend $40 on Assassin's Creed, but none of the other ones are likely to even be worth that much to me.

I haven't spent $40 on a game since 2002, $50 since 2001, and I've never spent $60. I don't expect this to change.
