What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

i couldnt get into dante i tried it and it really does just feel like another gow clone even down to the boobies( which seemed kinda unnecessary).
 
Has there ever been a sale on Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords? I just found out that it includes the expansion that I didn't get a chance to play on Xbox Live. If I could get it for $10 or less I'd be all over it.
 
Sweet, I liked it too actually when I got it for cheap.

I think next week a demo in Japan for Resonance of Fate/End of Eternity.
 
Just got my PS3 but saw I just missed the PSN Fall Sale (wanted Flower and maybe Last Guy).

I assume there will be a Christmas sale, any vets know for sure?

Nothing can be assumed about their sales. I did receive a survey invite this morning, asking me specifically about this past sale, which may be an indication that they'll do more like this in the future, but again, that's speculative at best. They typically have a sale each quarter.
 
It'll have to be $10. Even though VIII didn't receive nearly the following that VII did, it was still a very popular game, and SE knows this. I'm sure it'll be their same rationale for charging $40 for a DS game, when no other DS game (other than ones that included peripherals, like the Walking Coach and Guitar Hero) went above $35.

Will there be any ps3 bundles for Christmas? I.E. On Black Friday Amazon had a ps3 bundle 299.99 including Kill Zone 2 and Unchartered/Infamous?
 
i read somewhere that f8 would be out this week but who knows. whats he deal with the uk getting the eye of indra dlc first( its 2 mp skins) also hoping ff9 comes out at some point i never got to try that one. btw can you play ff7 with the analog stick or is it digital pad only?

It'll probably be a couple weeks since it has to be rated by the ESRB for the PS3 and PSP.

Didn't it just get ESRB re-rated or something? No wait, it got rated for Europe. Regardless, it seems unlikely that Europe will get it and NA won't.

Oh, you're right. Looks like Square had shifted to publishing through EA in time for FF VIII. I think they switched right after FF VII after seeing the sales in NA :lol:. I'd be kicking myself if I were them too.

Euro store has a few things, but nothing really great. Some bundles of previously released stuff (Burnout), and discounted DLC (Dead Space) stuff. I really hope the U.S. store gets different items, 'cause so far it looks like junk to me.

The report on Joystiq had a number of price drops in addition to sales, though most of it was PSP stuff.
 
If you rent a movie how does that work, is it 24 hours from the time you first press play? And will Silent Hill spoil any of the games in the series?

From what I know, no. I've only played Silent Hill Homecoming, its probably best if you do play the games before the movie, as you won't understand the atmosphere/references/characters in the movie.

No, it won't spoil the games... but it does have some similarities to many of the games... and draws the most from the first one. Quite a bit from the first one actually... but that game is so old now. ;)

Bingo. 14 days until expiration from the moment of purchase if you never play it at all - 24 hours after you start it up for the first time.

dont waste your money on it its a pretty bad movie. not as bad as the re movies but still bad enough. though there was one cool scene in it..........
 
Who not rent Silent Hill the movie... Does it suck or do you mean its worthy of purchase? I see. I thought it was supposed to be better than any other gaming movie. I want to see it so I may rent it despite its reputation. :bomb:

I recently beat the first one and actually enjoyed it quite a bit, even enjoyed it more than the 2nd one which I am currently playing.

I thought the first half was really good. Captured the feeling of the games really well until the 2nd half and the
witchcraft BS
