I guess I understand the shift to puzzle type games since a lot of the retail games seem like clones of each other, part 3-5 of the series, or annual 'updates', but I never really feel like firing up the PS3 and HDTV to play popcap games when I can get the same experience on my DS. It's like having a fast sports car that you never take over 2500rpm #

I like that they have some full games up on PSN (Warhawk, SOCOM, Burnout, ect...) and even add-ons like R&C and hope they go that route more often than puzzle game rehashes.

I lurked the X360 BC thread, impressions seem mixed. It's made by Grin and they were responsible for most polished game I played in awhile, Bionic Commando: Rearmed so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I can understand how the game could be off-putting since it's a multiplayer-only demo with no easy private match setting which would make getting acquainted with the swinging mechanic the game revolves around a bitch to learn (especially on a night map of all maps). Stupid Capcom.

The MP demo was cool with the private match glitch. It would be nice if it was on PSN because I know more people with PS3s.

Capcom already said that they weren't bringing the Bionic Commando demo over to the PS3, if I recall correctly.

I don't know what they're fascination with MP-only demos lately has been, but they need to reconsider what the focus of the game itself is on and try to show that off as best as they can. Bionic Commando's a single-player experience with an interesting MP mode thrown in.

Yeah, from what I've heard, the PS3 got MvC2 and the 360 got Bionic Commando.

Fixed. But yeah, I agree with you.

The Bionic Commando demo should of given a taste of the single player. Now the consensus is that BC is essentially "Meh" because they are demoing the side dish instead of the main course.

huh? An update again (2.76)? No ones said anything about this. My download (for the update) keeps saying it cannot connect to the server, and obviously my internet connection is fine or else I wouldn't be able to talk to you now. Maybe there are just too many people donwloading from it at one time.

EDIT: Yeah, looking around it looks like people are getting loads of fails.

BC Rearmed will be on sale for $4.99, which I'm guessing will last for a week. It may be their opportunity to get more sales before the 3D game comes out or maybe it's a way to apologize for giving up on trophies for Rearmed.

I'm surprised that they're giving away a game that's new and not something a bit older, so maybe this is a sign that they're working on DLC for RDKF and want to give people the means to buy it.

I don't know if they've done the free DLC thing with more than just Naruto and DW Gundam 2, but it's nicer than their streak of trying to selling you access to content that was already on the disc.

I know, I wasn't even sure if I wanted it. I put 25 on there and after getting CnR for Burnout Paradise and a few LBP Costumes I had the ten and figured why not. The game def wasn't worth it imo, and I wish there was a way I could get my 10 bucks back now that it's free for this week. Ah well.

I paid full price for BC:Rearmed and it was worth it. I wonder if I'm still in the top 5 for challenge rooms k

I remember spending hours on those, man the secret ones and the later challenges were such a bitch, getting an eagle badge was an accomplishment no matter what stage -_-

I got it around launch and I have yet to pass it on the hardest difficulty. I'm right at the end but the last level is such a kick in the manly region. I manage to get to the boss without getting hit (rare but it happened), and I get my butt kicked no contest by those missiles
