What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!
3/25, but you need to get the email to be eligible to get the code.
I got the e-mail, but am already a member of PSN Plus. Does that mean I don't have to re-up in order to get the download code? The e-mail gave me the impression I had to sign up/renew by March 25th to receive it.

Thanks for any input.

Was planning on using some of my tax refund to sign up for psn + . I don't really need the extra content or games I wont ever get around to but it would be nice to have the cloud storage JIC . The refund might not be deposited by the 25th or 29th.

I tried playing the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo this weekend but kept saying "connection reset". I assume the servers were down. Anyone else have this problem?

I'd imagine that you'd get it if you re-subscribed, though you could call them and double check.

There were a lot of connection issues with the demo. It's actually been pulled from the store for a few days now.
Anyone recommend GTA LCS for half price? I know it's old...but seems like a good deal. Got good reviews at release.
the lost and the damned portion is ok but the ballad of gay tony is awesome its what gta4 should have been. its a good value if you want more and better gta.
How is Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime?
I found it to be dreadful. For those of you interested, I implore you to try the demo first. There's a lot of people talking how bad it was after trying it out. (Of course our opinions are just opinions tho :p)

He's talking about LCS, not GTA4.

Yeah... yeah... It's too bad because I was hoping it would at least be a competent dual-joystick shooter. It just felt off somehow, especially the shooting. The plasma pack causes no kind of knockback on the enemies, as far as I could tell, so they come at you and a lot of them move really fast. Add that to having to switch between the different colors to kill enemies and it equaled a lot of deaths for me.

Maybe the full game is better, but after the demo I'm not gonna pay $10 to find out.
Sanctum of Slime might be the worst game on PSN. Dreadful is right.
yeah it comes of flike a dumbed down deadnation clone that lazily uses the ghostbusters license. i got to the second room and quit. oddly enough i kinda liked the wrestlemania legends game but hated the cartoony deformed character models.

WTF you talking about? They were all terrible but you are mistaken. Rockstar needs to learn how the f to make shit competetive. Pure f-ing trash from the shiat i have seen online. F-ing terrible bro.

Frisky already covered it, but yeah I was referring to GTA LCS (PSP title, not PS3 add-on. Pro's/con's anyone? Yes, I've read reviews, but those are outdated at this point. Plus I would trust personal recommendations more than critics.

I really enjoy multi-player Hoard, but it's hard to get a game going since apparently not enough people bought it or are playing it. So everyone go get it while it's on sale!

I really like GTAIII. Still do. Returning to that city (as Liberty City is, to my recollection, identical to what you played in GTAIII) was enjoyable. I don't think you can go wrong for $10. If you don't think you can play through GTAIII-2 in 2011, though, you may want to pass. It's not much different.

I kinda knew this game would be bad but I still bought it anyway being a GB fan. I play it online with a friend and after the first two levels it seems pretty easy so far. No headset capability so that is kind of a bummer.

i was thinking of getting it as well and im glad they put up a demo .

Yeah same here. I'd buy it for maybe $5 but not $10.

Plus it doesn't help I don't play in HD(yeah I know, I suck) and could not read any of the text in the comic book cut scenes

Looking at the previous works of Behaviour Interactive, who made the Ghostbusters PSN game, they're the typical licensed game developer that has gotten some breaks to work on other stuff recently like Naughty Bear, Wet, and Doritos Crash Course (a good free XBLA game). At the very least, you can get some enjoyment out of listening to the Ghostbusters theme on the official site.

Here's the Top 10 Avatars LTD from the latest Pulse episode:

1. LittleBigPlanet Sackboy
2. MAG Raven Badge
3. LittleBigPlanet Hugo
4. MAG SVER Badge
5. Super Street Fighter IV Akuma
6. MAG SVER Character
7. LittleBigPlanet World Cup Sackboy US
8. Uncharted 3 Nathan Drake
9. Super Street Fighter IV Ryu
10. LittleBigPlanet Marvin Sackboy

Yeah I was really underwhelmed by the Ghostbusters demo. It just didn't feel like Ghostbusters to me, I guess the characters from the movies really do "make it" for me. On the bright side however is the WWE All-Stars demo. That game is a blast to play! It's basically the NBA Jam of pro wrestling with a very good roster and fun gameplay. I don't think I can pay $60 for it but when it hits $30 it's mine!
Just got done playing the Sanctum of Slime demo. It is pretty horrible, it makes me sad... I had high hopes for it.
I was hoping for something along the lines of Marvel Ultimate Alliance or X-Men Legends 2. But it was a letdown and then some.

I can't believe there's not even voice chat. I'd be furious if I bought this.

LCS = Liberty City Stories (PSP/PS2)

EfLC = Episodes from Liberty City (PS3)

I had to look too, I was getting confused as well.
Anyone recommend GTA LCS for half price? I know it's old...but seems like a good deal. Got good reviews at release.
I played the PS2 version, while not as high fidelity as its non-port brethren (VC and GTA3) it's still a GTA game at its core and fun if you want to experience a different chapter of what went on in Liberty City before GTA 3,
(MC from GTA 3 makes an appearance too)
It was fun, I personally likes Vice City Stories better, but they're both worth a play through if you need an old school GTA fix in the old Liberty City.
The game has been delayed indefinitely.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/03/18/motorstorm-apocalypse-release-update/
The first two Motorstorms were absolutely beautiful but the second one (didn't play enough of the first one to judge) always felt loose to me. I get it, you're racing over mud/dirt/anything but roads but it made the game feel random at times.

Compare that to something like the first Sega Rally and therein lies my gripe. Sega Rally is sorta loose too, but I could consistently perform the same on a track once I learned it, I never got there with Motorstorm 2.

Some additional tweaking is welcome. I doubt they'd up and cancel the whole franchise after 3 (including Arctic Storm) relatively successful entries.
Anybody know when the demo for motorstorm apocalypse will be coming out? I thought it was coming out this week !
I posted it way back a few pages back and Frisky reiterated what I posted when someone asked last week.

The Motor Storm Apocalypse Demo is up on the UK PSN and has been for almost 2 weeks (unless it's been removed) so go grab it there.

Might be a hassle to create a new account, but you can get it there, no waiting, no codes, just D/L and play.

Edit: March 15th I posted this...

Yeah I was pretty bummed Sanctum of Slime didn't have voice chat either. It's a weak offering.

I managed to download Tetris for $5 while it's on sale this week and I was impressed with what they did to this classic. The multiplayer modes are really fun and somehow Tetris manages to support voice chat but a coop twin stick shooter like Ghostbusters doesn't...
