Whats in the PS Store Thread: Sega Superstars Tennis and Condemned 2 demos up now!

I finally bought FLOW for $4.99. My first premium content. I'm annoyed how Sony makes you add $5.00 to your wallet and then charges $4.99. They screw everyone out of $0.01. That adds up pretty quickly for Sony I would imagine.

I would rather Sony charge me $4.99 for the game. It's just annoying, what am I going to do with a bunch of pennies in my account IF I buy more premium content.

Also, any idea if Sony will offer MLB 07 as a demo? I went to rent it, but OOS.

That changed recently. Previously, you could add any amount, and during checkout, you would add the exact amount. The first time I saw the $X.00 increment was when I bought Mortal Kombat II, so it's been around at least that long (though it hasn't always).

Well, hopefully they bring back exact amount, because I want my $0.01 back. I noticed there is an option for a PLAYSTATION CARD also....is Sony going to match MS point system eventually?
Oh, the JP store has the FolkLore (FolkSoul) video up.
Nice HD, 202MB. Or 282?

Eh, it's well encoded.
The first part of that video really made me want to see a new Silent Hill on the Ps3. The rest just made my eyes pop out of my head. Is that the kind of stuff we're going to be seeing on the system? Really amazing.

I don't see the Folksoul demo...

Championship Sprint, some MLB07 videos, and a few other things (I forget).

The JPN store is *flush* with PSX games, including some old SNK classics (spotted KOF '95 and some version of Garou Densetsu/Mark of the Wolves Special Edition). Shame I can't buy them.

No folksoul demo yet, though.

After you talk to that weird creature outside of the bar in FolkSoul, what are you supposed to after that? I'm stuck.

A crapload of Ridge Racer 7 add-on content is up. Music, decals and special event races. Everything is free except the music which is around 99 cents a piece.

Announcement from SCEA regarding global servers

Hi everyone,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have an statement from Greg Phillips regarding the Global Servers.

Also, to be clear, the Map Pack depends on the patch, the patch depends on global servers. Therefore we cannot release anything until we have the global servers in place.

Thanks,
JS
And next week Lair demo:
Wow. I have no idea how to sustain an erection for seven days, but, by god, I'm going to learn.

those cialis spam letters might finally come in handy!

can't wait to play Lair. i'm getting a new Sharp LCD on Monday and if lair doesn't completely melt it, I'll be disappointed :D

The Heavenly Sword video is up... it's nice... and the Stranglehold Collectors edition trailor. I hope Heavenly sword plays as well as it looks.
So is the LAIR demo really coming this week?
I don't think it's confirmed.
I don't think it's confirmed.
I was expecting that.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, because if I do it won't happen :p

sweet I can't wait for the demo. I really wanted to try Lair out before buying it. Someone needs to manage this thread like the 360 Marketplace thread, where when something new is added to the Playstation store the thread headline is edited to show what was added today.

I can do that to the thread title, but I quit doing it on the list because it felt pointless due to it being on the playstation website. If people think I should do it again I can.

I'll start updating the thread title though.

I wouldn't bother with all that. We know that Thursday is the day they update the stores and people can just go look at the offical website like you mentioned.
