when you DL a game, it doesn't show up in the store for some reason.


Dynasty Warriors Gundam???! I know that equates to ridiculous sales in Japan, like if they were to release a Halo and WWE crossover game here, but I was really hoping for Lair.

I'm guessing they'll hold out for E3 for Lair-- perfect time to get everyone talking about it (for better ot for worse.)

oh well, off to DL DWG and Super Stardust
 
I'm kind of annoyed with the DWG demo. You can only play as Heero >.< My least favorite character from my least favorite Gundam series, damn. Anyone but him would have been fine. Hell, I'd have even taken Fa Yuiry. At least she isn't all emo all the time.

Still it was exactly what I was expecting, which is good. The original mode ended up being more interesting than I thought. Was cool to see Kamille and Haman on the same side XD Seeing Haman at all was great.

When did the Playstation Store start only allowing you to transfer money to your wallet in increments? The absence of this ridiculous practice was one of the reasons why I only downloaded content from PSN...

It'll tell you that you need to add money to your wallet AND if you want to do it now.

Say yes, and then it'll just have the amount of the game to charge.

I think it's if what you need to add is above $5 then you can add the exact amount (in my case I had ~$2 already so I added $5.XX) if less you have to add $5.

Of course that's just what I've noticed from when I've bought stuff. I could be completely wrong.
 
Check out your main PSN Store page... Does yours say "E3: Get ready for something new July 11th-July13th" too? :)

Word is Heavnly Sword demo is coming out "soon" (posted link in game's thread) so we might see that and hopefully Lair demo finally too.

Hopefully they have DAILY updates then...as my 360 will probably be in the shop for repair still. Hopefully MS gets me my coffin ;)

Always interested in some new content/demos to pull me away from my TWO games I own ;)
 
I actually had a dream about the PSN update. I was checking it.
It was good, 1 game, a demo, and a few trailers.

I also saw Strell in my dream.

We'd better get something better than a trailer.

I'm done hoping for LAIR though...that will most likely be out during/after E3.
 
I can tell you this... with instructions in Kanji, which I would have to spend about 5 minutes translating to get anywhere... the game makes absolutely no sense. The first level... makes sense. Get the flashing green things as power ups... get enough of them and the level completes. 2nd level, you only get the flashing green power ups every 75,000 points... but you get absolutely swarmed by enemies before you can get anywhere near finishing the level. Incredibly frustrating.

In regards to the Japanese account rumors... Gamesharing is ok, but downloading demos out of region isn't? Yeah, that would be smart...

Edit: After more time in on it... If you have $8 bucks to spend... and haven't purchased Super Stardust yet... buy that... don't buy this. Even when I was figuring levels out... the game is no where near as much fun.
 
Yeah, with someone who has some inside to SCEE at PlayStation Universe, posted a thread about Sony cracking down on fake accounts, because it against one of the rules (because of an address not being real). I've heard of a few who had their PSN account banned over it (not many, but some), which is why I'm kind of scared to use mine right now (I deleted one of my accounts, but not my Japan one yet). Sony isn't willing to invest tons of money to search all accounts though.

Yeah, I heard Nucleus wasn't all that good, and SSD HD and Blast Factor were better. I'll just wait for it to come to the U.S. store.
 
Let's end all the speculation:
Indeed, you'll be able to check it out for yourself because our Sony rep was confident that a Lair demo would appear on the PlayStation Network, although they admitted it could well be post launch because Factor 5 is working flat out to get the actual game finished. If what we've seen lately is indicative of the final game, which we're pretty sure it will be, it's time well spent.

For the last time, no demo was ever scheduled for June or anytime before the game's release.
 
Yeah, that'a new article that has nipped the demo in the bud.

However they did say before that June would see one.

No one has ever provided any proof of that. I read a developer interview back around January that said a demo would probably come, but they never gave a date. The June rumor was born from Neogaf and just blew up.

Anything new in the store? It's sad that MS is just blowing Sony out of the water with demos and content in their Marketplace.

Although, my 360 is dead for the moment, so I want PS3 to step up their game.
