I thought the first Wild Arms was enjoyable. A pretty forgettable game that took generic turn-based RPG gameplay into 3D, but the good sort of forgettable.

Sony has another, I'm certain. Can't recall what it is.
Dragoon was a huge ripoff of FF7 and FF8 made by Sony.
Ya it was. Doesn't mean it was a bad game though.

Then again, I never beat the first disc since it either got hard or I got bored of it, can't remeber.

Timeshift demo, NFS demo, and Twisted Metal 2 for PSP/PS3 and more up.

WOW at two PSX games 2 weeks in a row.
IS SONY LISTENING?

I'll buy TM2 as support.
It's my fave one.

Adding to what Dallow posted, there's:

Twisted Metal 2
Timeshift Demo
NFS Prostreet Demo
Godfather add-on stuff
Uncharted "Massive" Trailer (awesome trailer)
GT5 Prologue TGS Video
NFS ProStreet TV Spot
Burnout "Annihilator" Trailer
Burnout "Hawker" Trailer
Burnout "Roadster" Trailer
Beowulf The Game Trailer
PlayStation Eye Video
The Bucket List Trailer
Close Encounters Trailer
New Eye of Judgement Wallpaper?

Nice turnaround from a disappointing week last week.
And next week will be sweetest of all.
Yes, yes it will.

Nothing but the demo can go up and it'll be the best update ever!
Does the twisted metal support co-op still, and/or online co-op? If so I will pick it up in a second.
Nope, and to the poster above, hang on to your hard copy.

No co-op for now, just single-player. That may change later with an update.

Ya i just looked at the games decription, that really sucks, if they decide to add co-op later then I will pick it up, but for now I'll just play ratchet.
I doubt the PSX games are gonna get any kind of online support.
They're just straight rips of the PSX isos.
Yeah, I gotta agree there. The PS1 titles are what they are and most likely won't be getting any special treatment.

Alright "THRUST!" is out. I think I still have it on PSX but for anyone that doesn't, good times here.

(If you didn't live with my old roommate for a semester back in 1997, you'd have no way of knowing that Twisted Metal 2 was his favorite game of all time and he'd play it constantly. The funny thing is, he never called it Twisted Metal 2, he simply called it, "THRUST!". Yes, in caps and everything. He was nuts. His explanation was that it was such an awesome game that it needed not only a cooler name, but that cooler name needed to be shouted in order to properly convey one's excitement about the game.)

Me too. I'm interested in TimeShift, but not as much as I am Haze. Demo's a demo, though.

here's hoping for a doubtfully likely Haze demo.
anything today for Japan/Europe that the US didn't get?
There was a game called "Toy Show" in the JPN store I'd never heard of. I didn't get much of a chance to look at it. At 800 Yen, I'm not taking a chance on it.
Any idea when DLC for GH III is coming out? I know the game just came out but shouldn't be too hard to get the old 360 DLC.
Neversoft hasn't been talkative about specific details on DLC, so you're guess is as good as mine. I know Harmonix is aiming to have something up every week, but Neversoft's been quiet, so they may not be putting anything up for awhile.

I'm (not really) surprised that people have burned through the ~70 songs in four days such that they're ready for more music already!

I'm keeping an ear open towards DLC, but given the pricing on the 360 DLC for GHII, I'm very skeptical that I'll buy any.

If Neversoft continues that practice, they would have to be really good bundles for me to buy them. If I get my choice at songs, like Harmonix was promising, I could see myself grabbing songs I like or songs that would be fun to play.

Ya I don't really mine that online isn't there, but if co-op was there, like the orginal, it would be a easy buy.
Prostreet can't figure out what type of racer it wants to be.
Neither could I, because it seems somewhat sim and Carbon/Most Wanted. I gotta play it on PS3 to judge what I think of it. I kind of want it. I might try out Timeshift.

I want TM2, but I'm going to wait until I buy it.

Twisted Metal 2 is the kind of game that you buy only to realize it sucks. Then you try to sell it, and no matter how low you set the price on Ebay, it'll never sell. So you just throw it away.

I haven't played TM2 since around the year it was released, but it was one of my favorite games at the time.

Never played 3 or 4 since they were made by a different studio.

Twisted Metal Black was badass.
Timeshift was a severe letdown, IMO. Yuck.
I could have told you that after they released a demo a year and a half ago and it sucked ass.

At least it looked and ran a lot better than the forsaken demo from back then.

Using the slow-mo reminded me of F.E.A.R., and when they blew up with the crossbow, which was like the only kick ass weapon in the demo, it reminded me even MORE of F.E.A.R.

The time-shifting aspect has potential, they just didn't put the OOMPH! in it.

My main gripe with the Timeshift demo was that I'd take my shotgun, stop time, run up to a soldier, shoot them twice in the head so that blood splattered on the wall, run back, and when time continued, he standing like nothing happened.
PC or 360?
eh? Timeshift or F.E.A.R.?
Timeshift is so mediocre it hurts. Especially when games like The Orange Box just came out, and Call of Duty 4 is around the corner.
Duuude, all these FPS out/coming out are gonna give my PC a workout

Crysis looks awesome as well

Indeed. The kind of activity presented in the intro movie leads one (foolishly, in retrospect) to think "man, I could totally do that!?!?!?! AWESOME!".

Then you freeze time, cap a couple bullets in some schmucks' noggins, and then restart time...only for them to begin shooting back at you.

Again...yuck. I'd rather hunt down a $30 copy of Resistance and go back to that game.

It seemed random though. Some guys would be fine, others would collapse. The best solution was to use the crossbow exclusively, so that they blew up when hit regardless of whether they wanted to or not.

A lot better then the last two weeks, I got to say. Only thing this week that really interests me is the Time Shift demo. It's getting mostly 7's score wise, which to me means mediocre. I'll d/l it later and try it out, from the looks of it though doesn't look like it's worth $60. I want the damn Folklore content damn it! Euro gets it, I hope we do as well.....
