I picked up Rocket Racing. Its an excellent game. The controls and gameplay are really incredible. I almost wish it wasnt a Mini so it could make use of multiplayer.

My only criticism is the lack of ability to restart races while in a Grand Prix. While I understand why, the rest of the game allows you to use it anytime. I got into the habit and found it frustrating to be unable to restart when making a small mistake in one of the GPs.

I highly recommend RR. Easily worth $4.99.

Did they port the PS2 version of Red Star to the PSP? I heard some good things about this game when it came out on the PS2 a few years ago. It's supposed to be old school type of game with elements of Final Fight and Contra. I might look into getting it at some point.

Got Adventures to Go! and Alien Zombie Death

ATG is apparently cheaper at Gamestop (was an exclusive), but may be hard to find. It's somewhat unusual, sort of a combination dungeon crawler and SRPG, but quick paced. Dunno how long it lasts, but kept me busy the last couple hours.
 
Update! The Batman comic is not in the Comics section of the store, it's under Media, and I had to search for it. Also, once downloaded, it shows up in the Game section on the memory stick, not Digital Comics.

D'oh, I missed that Vempire is on sale. I had been wanting to get that whenever it did go on sale (there's a serious dearth of match 3 games on the PSP for some reason).

Picked up DOA: Paradise. It's mostly the original one on the Xbox, but with the swimsuits of the second (which is curious, since they were awful) and a couple added characters (one from DOAX2, the other Tecmo's mascot or something). Only real note is the blackjack games lets you use one of the new characters (Rio) as the dealer. You see her dealing the cards and she talks to you. Pretty decent, if you like blackjack, I guess.

More importantly, the volleyball is like the original game, not the sequel, so it's actually winnable.

Excellent. The volleyball actually was decent in the first game (which I invested more than 100 hours in back in the day), but it was completely f'ed up in the second. I've been contemplating buying an original Xbox to replay DOAX, but now it looks like I won't have to.

Yup, it was probably my most played Xbox game, but I've rarely touched the sequel on the 360 since the volleyball in that is just broken.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty close to the original. It's a little difficult to see (smaller screen obviously) and there can be a little bit of slowdown when the AI spikes the ball.

edit: It maybe actually be closer to DOAX 1.5 than anything else. From what I read on Gamefaqs, some of the smaller mini-games from 2 are unlockable (then again, who knows if it's true). Not the water racing or slide, though. Anyway, the volleyball is fun, which is all I care about.

edit: Yup, there are unlockables. Just unlocked beach flags. Which isn't very fun, but at least it's something.

I actually liked the original a lot better. I never played Battle Stance though, it's an enhanced version of the sequel, meant to fix some of the complaints.

I was pretty excited for "Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess", but now it's finally here, I'm kinda underwhelmed. Story mode is really short and I guess thanks to middle age slowing my reflexes, I really am awful at it. (It's a vertical platformer where you have to climb up things really quickly to whack a monster that (probably) stole your princess)

Hard to believe so much work (if you read the development blogs) went into so simple a game.
