Time to pick up gran turismo but i need to decide if i want the digital version or if i should use one of my 10 or 20 dollar coupons from gamestop and get the umd.
I was thinking about motorstorm but i didnt like the demo and there aren't many tracks.

The trouble with getting the UMD (which I have) is that you have to install it to the memory stick or else face truly awful loading times. Heck, installed to the memory stick it's still slow. But bearable.

(Really really sloppily done port).

So probably should get it digitally, so as to avoid that.

Having gran turismo psp on my memory card makes my psp 300 times better than it used to be. I never really played the series for more than a few hours but this game has me frothing at the mouth for gt5. I bought gran turismo 3 a-spec when it came out but i never got to understand it or get any good at it. I want to burn rubber on the face of anyone who rated this below an 85. It is the best game on the system by quite a few miles. Bring on the gran turismo 1 ps classic already. Judging from what i have seen and heard about gran turismo 2 i will be skipping that one without hesistation. All of my friends who were turismo nuts said the second one actually kind of sucked and i know i played both and was much more impressed with the first one.

Glad you like it, but to me, Gran Turismo was all about career mode and car modding. GT PSP has no career mode or car modding. It's sort of neat driving down the Nurwhatzitring on a portable, but at the same time, I miss all the other stuff.

I followed the directions but they aren't very clear. I searched for about an hour and i still can't get my mp3's to play on the game. I'm pretty sure they are in the right format cause i use them on wipeout hd and pain.

They're hinting on the blog that a real PS1 Classic will be coming next week, which could be Crash Team Racing from the latest list of newly rated PS1 games for PSN. I'm not sure how excited PSP owners would be since you can't do MP with it on the PSP.

It could just as easily be a price drop, but they never mentioned why it's $9.99 on the blog updates, so it's a temporary sale until it goes back up or is moved out of the deals section.

No.

Each game builds on the last one and adds improvements... the only reason to go back is if you finish this one completely (and they last quite awhile) and you're jonesing for a another MH. From what I remember, Unite is just an expanded port of an older version to begin with.

Monster Hunter also has no real story, so really, there is no reason to play the old ones.

if your still wondering about badman , it is amazing and at 7.99 for the first one, i have at least 20 hours in my game and cant get past lvl 6 , and training modes are very abundant. ive done edit, but its kinda ridiculous ,as it is just to see how fast a lvl 20 hero can take out your dungeon....
does anyone know any good 14.99 or under tactical rpgs?

Are all those games listed when you click on the Dowloadable Games link are those on the PSN Store? Because I got confused when it said UMD Games.
Does that mean those games are only UMD or does that mean games that are also downloadable and on UMD?

The PSOne classics update looks like its gonna be ridiculous this week. From the PS Blog:

Saiyuki: Journey West — It’s a long way to India, but you’ll stop at nothing to get there in order to please Lady Kannon, one of six guardians of heaven. As Sanzo, a young monk at a small Buddhist temple in China, you’ll travel through lush, 3D worlds in an attempt to round up the five remaining guardians and deliver them all to the Thunder Temple of India. This won’t be so easy, as there will be dozens of detractors and obstacles along the way. You’ll enlist the help of such as Son Goku, the monkey king, and others each of who has unique abilities and weapons.
Destrega – The people of Zamuel were struggling to survive. The Strega, an advanced race, took pity on them and shared their knowledge of magic. Immediately, Zamuel became the most powerful nation on the globe and started to conquer surrounding lands. Had the Strega known of the humans’ thirst for power, they never would¿ve shared their knowledge. One thousand years have passed and the Strega are locked in a bitter war with the humans for control of the last magic relics.
Romance IV of the Three Kingdoms: Wall of Fire – It’s the era of the Second Han Dynasty, and China is being overrun by powerful warlords. A struggle for power among the court families has spawned a time known as the Three Kingdoms, and it’s up to you (as the current ruler) to restore peace to your troubled country. There are 558 different officers to discuss your strategy with including 108 inspired by your own decisions and preferences.

Ive never made it through a Romance game before, but on PSP I might actually pull it off. Saiyuki looks like it might be a nice cheap SRPG to play while I wait for the Tactics Ogre remake to drop in price a bit.

I'm sort of tempted to get Xenogears, but I remember distinctly not really liking the game (not sure why, loved the xenosaga games), so I can't make myself spend $9.99 on it. What I'm curious is what are the other 2 Squeenix games we're getting next week and the week after. Though, they are most likely the parasite eve games, COME ON SQUEENIX GIVE US CHRONO CROSS.
