What's in your PS2?
mvc2. its crap compared to the dc version.
Because, you know, better controls (the PS2 controller is way better for Marvel vs Capcom 2 than the DC one) = crap.

I'm switching between Darkwatch [rental] and Digital Devil Saga 2. I think I'm getting Dragon Quest VIII for Christmas so I want to beat at least one RPG before I get into that one.
If my boy wants to watch a game either Summer Heat Volleyball or Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.

Yeah, youll be busy with DQ for a good couple months haha.

Dragon Quest 8 & Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. Having a lot of fun with both - 15 hours into each, and that's fairly close to the end of Castlevania from what I can tell.

Many people (myself included) think the DC controller is the ultimate pad for 2D fighters. So maybe you're wrong.

Many people? Like who? Perhaps "many people" have not even tried using the PS2 controller for 2D fighters? The DC controller is not good for 2D fighters, the PS2 one has way better button placement and a better D-Pad period. I own a DC and its a great system and all, but I find it annoying when some people think everything is better just because its on DC or its a version of a DC game.

La Pucelle Tactics.

My little bro's been playing that game. I, on the other hand, have been playing Final Fantasy X (trying to complete it 100%). So both those games get switched in and out every other day.

My core group of friends and I played Guilty Gear on the PS2, and SF: 3rd Strike on the Dreamcast a lot during our 2nd year. We overwhelmingly agree that it's easier to pull off complex moves w/ the DC controller due to the cross-shape of the D-Pad. We feel it's harder to guage movements using the Dual Shock's D-Pad.
