Who is your favorite video game hero?

Since I did the villian one I thought I'd also do a hero one to keep the order of on CAG. Can't have too much evil right?

Anyway this one was real tough for me. There are just so many that are memorable. Sonic, Mario, Sarge, Squall, Cloud, Sora, Samus Aran, Solid Snake, etc. it really is too hard to just choose one and not let leave one out.
 
Hmm, this is really hard. I think I will go with Leon S. Kennedy from Resodent Evil 2 because most people will probably not pick him.
 
Sora is definitly up there, can't deny the charm of Conker... Obviously Mario and Luigi. I'm actually digging Mizuti from Baten Kaitos right now as well.
 
Blue Bomber all the way!! (Forget that he hasn't had a good game in forever) the originals are always the greatest.


aarrghh.. Lizard Axe us CT guys know who the real good guys are. I was typing when you came up . Mega Man should win this easy. :lol:

My other favorites are Tommy Vercetti (if he can be called a hero), Guybrush Threepwood, Sam Fisher, Indiana Jones, Conker, Jak, and Daxter.

I can't stand heroes that hardly talk (or don't talk at all) like Link, Mario, Luigi, Sonic (he was an idiot when he talked), Samus, Mega Man...

Squall is number one for me. I'm a Leo and all that great FF8 merchandise went nice with my 'lion stuff' collection.

Link is a childhood favorite. Zelda 2 was the first game I ever mastered. I still remember every dungeon to this day. When I was 4, I was him for Halloween during the 8-Bit boom days when there was Nintendo everything. It was one of those smock/mask costumes too.

You can't deny all the classics, but how come no one mentioned the Belmonts, Billy/Jimmy Lee, or Earthworm Jim? They all had cartoons! And what about our old friend Karnov?!
 
Squall Leonhart, easily! I related to his personality so well back then, I really dug that character. Also, the lion theme was awesome, it led to me buying so many of the FF8 merchandise, including the necklace, ring, and so forth. I even considered getting a Griever tattoo on my shoulder blade, but came to my senses. In 40 years I probably won't be so much of a fan.

But hell, I bought a full-sized Gunblade on eBay a few months ago. Squall is definitely my pick.
 
I know I will sound like a fanboy but I have to go with Cloud for a Named Hero. And the Alien Character in The 7th Saga as a personal favorite.
