I looked at an area paper and a guy posted that he was selling a psone w/twenty games. I replied to him by calling him and he tells me to come over to check it out. So I go (not to far from me) and its an older version ps system and the games were original and a few backups. He tells me the ps system is modded to play backups and imports and a few of the originals games were intelligent cube, marvel super heroes, final fantasy 7 and a few others. I asked him how much is he willing to sell it and he tells me $70 but I tell him all I got is $40 and if he could hold it for me for a few days till I get the rest of the money but he tells thats fine $40 sounds good. I go home and everything works well. :)

Tell me about it! I'm getting so fucking sick of idiots posting garbage. We should work out a three strike system on idiots like this. I know like six people who always posted in here and always clicked on the links to support cheapy but they left because of idiots like this.
 
Nice find. I would have been fucking POed if I had got there and it would have been the modded system with ALL back up games, but turned out great for you.

The best thing you can do is ban them with the ignore function. I have ignored 2 people and it's great.
 
Nice deal. I just bought a complete Intelligent Qube for $40 shipped off eBay (a heck of a lot better than a CAG trying to sell me a disc only copy for $75). Getting IQ alone for $40 is a great deal, so anything else you got was a bonus.

LOL Sorry bro that one made me laugh but awesome deal on it. I remember playing IQ for hours on end and the funny thing about it was that it was just a demo. Good find though.

Thanks guys for the comments on the haul. If anyone is from Chicago, I saw the add printing in the chicago reader and usually I keep finding some good deals on the reader.

Overall it was 15 originals and 25 copies. Not bad considering I was going to buy a modded psone w/no games for $30 a few days earlier. And now I can play my import klonoa volleyball and dodonpachi. :)

Wow, you got a Bust A Groove in there too, that's another game that can fetch $40 just by itself. That's quite an impressive list for $40. There's some really good games in there.

I guess i just saw that RYOSNK had a Family Guy avatar, and I thought he'd be up for a little joking around. Yet he was offended by even the smallest joke and teasing. How does that work?!

You said something about blood being in one's stool. It's not funny. I wouldn't expect that in a deals discussion forum. Something like that is more appropriate in the Off-topic forum.

Hahah...I'm not the one acting immature here, and that is plain to see to everyone but yourself. When somebody makes a thread to discuss their deal and then tells you to butt out after making a lame post, the mature thing to do would be to just shut up and move on, not act like you are such a poor, persecuted comedian that "no one understands."

I didn't think your posts were too bad, but once you knew they were annoying to the OP you should have either just let it drop or apologized for the annoyance.

If you look at this thread the first 8 or so posts are people just piling on with nonsense and I think it just got to be a little much taken altogether.
 
Seriously... when are they going to make stupidity a capital offense? And if you *think* that applies to you and/or you then it probably does... you do the math, being clever will get you no where around these parts.

What I want to know is who sold the games to you? Was it an older fellow or something? I remember a friend getting a great deal on an NES and about 30 games or so quite a few years ago at a garage sale, simply because the guy who owned it was older and his kids/grandkids no longer played it and he had no use for the games and system either.
 
So how many stolen... err... "backed up" games came with it? Because, you know, stealing is bad. Almost as bad as humorlessness.

You have a point, WUBB. He was probably looking for people to pat him on the back for his score, but was peeved when people were just goofing around.
And you're right, I should have just let it drop, but lately it seems like no one can take a damn joke on these boards. I guess I just don't get why these people take this bullshit so seriously. whatever...
