Whoever came up with the idea of putting a mic on your tv need to be fired now.

Unless the developers of any currently released Wii online game knew about this in advance and built in support for it before their game shipped, no.
 
Can we at least get reports about how the mic doesn't work before we start grousing about it? I imagine the engineers at Nintendo aren't total morons; I'd assume they would've fixed any problems with speaker feedback during initial R&D. It's not as if there aren't sound cards already that can filter out such stuff.
