Holy crap. I have no money again.
How did I spend $1500 in a week?

I'm so f'ing weak.
On purchasing a rainbow collection of DS3s?

Or was it something less... fun? Like bills...
On purchasing a rainbow collection of DS3s?
I've never gotten into sim style racers but I dig arcade style.
Then buy/rent Burnout Paradise and race me. I'm a good opponent cause I suck at it.
It was his car insurance, of course. :D
Car insurance should be relative to the size of the car and how manly it empowers the driver.

Dallow would actually make money.

I have discovered a new love, and that love is crushed red pepper flakes.

Unfortunately, I have the eerie feeling I'm going to be shitting lava rocks tomorrow.

WSB.

1) Yes.

2) We thought you did that already.

Myke - assuming he's reading this - the rant about DMC is quite hilarious. The thought of Lou Dobbs reminds me to ask if you saw him talking to the Hispanic woman the other day on the subject of his show/other networks sanctioning subverted hate speech re: immigrants, and watching him flounder around like a little greased up bitch about it.

I love opps like that! It gives me a greater than 0% chance at winning.
fuck yeah, HUGE fan of him. Can't wait till the 19th
Fantastic. I'll be sure to give you my full impressions.
I love opps like that! It gives me a greater than 0% chance at winning.
The other good thing Wubb is that it seems to be made for achievement whores. I think I unlocked 40 points in the first twenty minutes of playing it.

2) No, usually I eat lightning and shit thunder.

:applause:

This reminds me that we are way overdue for a Rocky themed OTT.

Damn, now I'm really tempted.
Does this story end with you shouting "Mom!?" ikik
Oh god I'm so glad I didn't miss this, especially since the story ended with dallow hearing me say "Oh DALLOW'S mom!"
Also, this seems interesting ... a new world in Mass Effect for 400 points:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/marketplace/m/masseffect/bringdownthesky.htm
' "Bring Down the Sky" contains approximately 90 minutes of heart-pounding action and a new Achievement worth 50 Gamerscore points.'

Seems a tad on the light side, no?

50 GPs for this expansion seems to imply they plan 5 of these packs, $5 a pop = $25 for everything. Oy.
Check to see if it's happening in other games, or just that one.

If it's other games, then you may need to see if something isn't set right in the config of the 8800GTS. If it's just that game, then I'd check for patches, and see if there's something specific to that game that's the issue.
It's definitely like that on all of my games.

I suspect it has something to do with my monitor -- it's refresh rate vs. video card, or something.

Rock Band guitar came today. Woo.

Time to send in my 360 Xplorer, now.

No GHIII shipping email from YF360G. Sob.
It's definitely like that on all of my games.

Just Gears of War.

I have Halo 2, Half-Life 2 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Does it happen with just games, or with normal Windows use?
Just ghaaimez.
Who is this "DC Snake" did dcfox like change her name or something?
I think not.
Nope, for PopMatters.com. It'll be my first review for 'em, too.
moving on up in the world eh? I really dig their reviews, their writers seem to know what they are talking about in the music reviews
Big problem with that review is that the writer just put herself into it too much. While it's fine to throw in your actual opinion here and there, it's about the art form, not the person reading/listening to/looking at it.
Exactly. Also, after reading that review, can you tell me ANYTHING about the contents? Intellectual snobbery disguised as legitimate discussion annoys me. Same thing in music reviews, where you often get a litany on the reviewer's knowledge of back catalogs and obscure reference points without ever reading anything that might help a reader decide if the actual album in question has any merit.

ie the Pitchfork effect

Heh, I guess you could say that. Still doing it for free, though. Just payin' my dues.

Oh man, I hate that the most. Just tell me if it's good or not while mentioning some points of interest in a way that doesn't bore me. That's why I can hardly get through the reviews on Pitchfork and CokeMachineGlow. I only go to Pitchfork to get their news and see if they agree with me, though they tend not to.
ie the Pitchfork effect
Damn, you beat me, haha.

=====

Also, I love listening to Pavement because it makes me want to punch Rivers Cuomo in the throat.

:applause:

and that's why i stopped reading pitchfork

seriously, people get so into one-upping eachother with music.

i go through binges of getting new music and then just stop for like 4 months so that i can actually listen to what i've gotten.

Pavement does sound a whole Helluva lot like Blue Album / Pinkerton Weezer. :whistle2:k

I'm droooooooooooowning for your thirst!
Droooooooooowning for your thirst!
Droooooooooowning for your thirst!

I love Pavement.

I liked all the way up to Green Album... after that: Yuck.

The Rick Rubin produced "Beverly Hills" is hearing AIDS -- way too corny.

Mass Effect came in the mail today :bouncy:

Also got the replacement Halo 3 LE discs from MS. Faster turn around than I expected.

The middle page of the ME manual is loose. Is that a common problem? I'm a bit cheesed the seller didn't disclose that in the listing.

Also dude shipped in a plain paper mailer which is pretty shoddy. Didn't get damanged in transit thankfully.
On purchasing a rainbow collection of DS3s?

Trifecta hit me and I didn't realize.
Rent, insurance, car.

Rest was silly stuff.
I need to be more careful.

I hate that song more than you know. That and "Island in the Sun."

And I'm salivating at the thought when I buy the whole catalog at once so I can hear his voice to new words again.

the new album is solid, i like it a lot

have you ever heard the silver jews?

you might like them if you like pavement - malkmus sings backup and does guitars on a couple of those albums -

American Water is my favorite silver jews album.
I like Island in the sun
Sorry, but I can't find anything redeeming about that song. My female friends are partially to blame and the fact that it was overplayed like a motherfucker.

Ugh, the downside of having the same job as your gf:

"Sweetie I'm so sick, can you come in and work the rest of my shift on your day off?"

Ugh. So here I am.

In other news, the new Poker XBLA game is awesoemmememe.
