Why can't you see your post count?

I know this has probably been answered somewhere, but upon searching I found nothing.
Why can't you view your, as well as others post counts in threads? Was this disabled (as this would be a first for me) or is it just me?

You can see your post count on your profile page. As far as I know it's never been displayed in threads, and there is no reason why it need be.

It used to be displayed next to your posts, but bashing people with low post count occurred more because of that.

So instead we bash based on join date.

And occasionally iTrader rating...

If you seek it out, you will find it. It's there, just look. We used to have it on CAG, but it was too much fun so it got cut.

I think the real reason post counts stopped being displayed was because people would throw in random bullshit posts in an attempt to lengthen their e-dick. It got old pretty quick.

I too think this was the reason.
