Why Goozex is called Goozex

I found this out in an article in the washington post online.
And i know someone from Goozex wanted to say it on the show this week.

And hopefully im the first to know this outside some people not from this forum.

But Goozex is an abbreviation such as Pokemon.

It stands for

Goods Exchanged

Wow what a big hype for nothing. Anyway Goozex is great.
 
It all boils down to the word Kleenex and how it is more of a generic term for facial tissues. They are hoping that down the road, people will think only of the word Goozex when they are talking about people who want to get mint copies of Suikoden II in exchange for disc only copies of Madden 2001.
 
It is kind of annoying that these contests are all for new users. I feel a little gypped for being an early adopter. How about making a trade, constitues an entry? After all trades make them $$$, not signups. They are just encouraging phony signups.
