One of the worst op eds I've read in a looong time, epitomized by using Krugman's dismissal of alternate econ theory as evidence of liberal condescension. WTF is that shit. What does the author expect from him? "Golly, never thought of
that before, you're right, fiscal conservatism
does make more sense"?
I guarantee you
any econ PhD has already considered the alternate views. Conservative economists have already considered liberal theory, liberal economists have already considered conservative theory, and each have concluded in favor of what
they believe to be the superior stance, that's how shit works. Yet the author of the op ed goes off the deep end, claiming that by attacking conservative theory Krugman is being condescending? What a

ing joke.
But more on-topic, since I know this thread is more about liberal condescension than the specific bullshit spewed out by the op ed author, I definitely think liberals
are condescending, but no more so than conservatives. We humans all believe
our opinions are right and
other opinions are wrong. That's just how beliefs work. Most of my family think, because I support Obama, I must've been brainwashed by the liberals up here in 'the big city', or all this 'liberal media', et al, they believe my opinion is *wrong* and that I am either dumb or being deceived for having it... and this is
my family, this is a group of people who love me. Humans are just condescending, period, neither liberals nor conservatives are any sort of exception.
