Wii Fit + Wii Ski for $89 shipped eToys

The WiiFit appears to be in stock again, but the deal no longer works (with Wii Fit). Dead. It still works if you buy a Wii, but WiiFit can't be selected as the free game.
 
So, I was still at work for another 30 minutes after this got posted, working late. I always do a last-minute check for deals before I go home for the day, but since I was working on tight deadline, I worked late, and was in a hurry to leave after I finished my project, so I didn't. I saw it later while I was browsing on my phone, but I couldn't devote the time to actually go through the process using my phone, since I was with my wife, who would have killed me. It was pretty close to when it went OOS, anyway, so I probably wouldn't have made it. You have no idea how difficult it is for me to type the following sentence: Good luck to everyone who ordered, I hope they all go through.

If you didn't get the E-mail, then you needed to print your receipt.

A disclaimer on the confirmation page said as much.

o_O But I wouldn't know if I was going to get a confirmation email, unless I kept the page opened for an hour or just printed a receipt anyway. Is there really a disclaimer that amounts to "You may get an email, you may not, print your receipt just in case""?

What a shithole. Er, well, if they ship this deal to me, they're not a shithole.
 
I got order confirmation email as well. When you click thru, it states that the items have been located in stock. And under each game name, it also states when I should be receiving them. Same for everyone else?

I grabbed wifit + gears of war 2 with this deal yesterday.. wii ski was out of stock. I wonder if they will ship me out the wii ski (after order ships) if I ask about the promotion and why i didn't get the game.... I don't want to complain now and lose gears of war 2. Any feedback?
 
Seems like now the deal is the one they expected -- Wii Fit plus free ship and free Wii ski. Another game is not free, maybe they fixed it so 'Wii Fit' is no longer considered a game system to get another free game.
 
damn... I would've loved to get the ExciteBots bundle in this deal...

I hope it works out for everyone!

Well, like you wrote, this 'shithole' may be handing out one of the best deals of the year. :lol:

In the last sentence of your first paragraph, you pretty much summed it up. Without a permanent account or confirmation number, a buyer's order cannot be checked online.
 
glad I got in on this. hopefully they don't make the correction and not give me the free mario kart as well. had I even thought to look for other systems with the same deal I would've grabbed a game for the 360 as I spend a vast majority of my gaming time on that.

I got nothing yet. We don't know the specifics of order cancellations. Perhaps, those people tried to order mass quantities.
 
No shipment confirmation for me.

Even if you ordered without using an "account", you can still create one afterwards (just make sure to use the same email address you sent the order confirmation to) and check the order status online.
 
Checked my order online and all three items report "shipped". Ordered MarioKart since those core Wii games just take forever to drop in price.
 
Just got mine confirmed, thanks so much for posting this guineavere. Got Wii Fit, Wii Ski, and DDR Disney (couldn't pass on the x2 dance pads despite sketchy reviews) for $96.

Now I have to figure out how to unload Wii Fit--which we already have.
 
No shipping confirmation for me, although the 1-800 number was able to get me my number. Items located in stock- since I made one order and didn't greed out, it should be all good. Definitely a good deal, and it cracks me up every time someone says, "Why bother, it will just get cancelled." True, that is right most of the time. But sometimes orders go through for whichever reason.

EDIT: DAMN IT SON OF A BITCH IT GOT CANCELLED. I wonder if it's because I called and asked for my order number. I wouldn't think a Customer Service drone would have the ability or desire to cancel orders...
 
mine shipped also.. didnt get email but i checked on etoys account page.. now i just have to figure out what to do with the extra Little big Planet cuz i bought it this morning for 30 from amazon and bundled it with wii fit last night..

Yesterday, when I was looking through the selection, I didn't want to pick anything old because I knew the price would fall sooner on those titles. I was going to get Mario Kart, but I could have had it for around $37 shipped, so I ended up getting Excitebots.

Usually, the rule is never to call under any circumstance.
 
Cancellations are going out now (none for me--yet)...anyone who actually got a shipment confirmation and a tracking number consider themselves lucky.

Right... I figured it would be harmless. Looking through the SD thread, TONS of people got cancelled on, and even people who ordered early. So, it was probably going to happen to me anyway.

It would be tight if they sent out orders anyhow. Just three hours ago, my stuff was located in the wherehouse.

I got an e-mail saying that they were confirming MY CANCELLATION OF THE ORDER.

Um...wtf...I certainly didn't cancel the order. Nice try--I wrote them back in ALL CAPS--SCREAMING--I DID NOT CANCEL THIS ORDER. I'm sure it will stay canceled, but I thought it was worth a shot.

I also received an email thanking me for "Your Cancellation" of the order. I didn't cancel it either, so I think that's either a canned message or a real nice jab at an obvious mistake in their system. Sucks cuz I was really looking forward to getting the DDR game with two pads for free :(
 
You never know what can happen with these things. Several months back Target was selling Eye of Judgment online for something like $25. The deal went away before the thread got going. I believe this was after Target clearanced them out and before everyone else did so I thought I got in on a great deal. Got my cancellation notice a day later stating I could reorder at full price. No Thanks. A few days later it shows up in the mail! I made sure I was not charged and I called Target to report it and the CSR said "Well, if we sent it to you, you can just keep it". Thank You!

Back OT: I checked online earlier and saw my items had "shipped". Got my email stating the same about 2 hours ago.
 
Looks like I might be one of the lucky ones. I had planned on getting a Wii Fit pretty soon so this came at the perfect time and I got my confirmation this morning. Thanks OP.

My order was only billed and UPS has not yet picked up the package. So it's probably boxed and ready to be picked up by UPS but if they realize what's going on before UPS picks up the packages, than I'm sure they can still cancel the orders.

Just giving you fair warning so you're not surprised if you check the tracking info and something strange is in there. All depends on how much etoys is willing to eat. Definitely NOT advisable to sell off any parts of your order until you actually have the merchandise in hand (as I've seen a few other people already doing)
 
Looks like the free game with system purchase offer is no longer in effect. Was considering getting a DS with Gears Of War 2.

Oh well, there'll be other deals.
 
I got my cancellation email as well for my Wii Fit + Wii Ski + Mario & Sonic at the Olympic. I ordered at around 2:20pm yesterday, just a few minutes after the initial posting on SD.

I'm not going to be bothered by getting a cancellation E-mail. I've been on these forums long enough to know nothing is guaranteed.

I didn't enter into the deal thinking about selling off any parts, so I won't be burned that way.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. :)
