I think they're just really running out of ideas for questions. The general nintendo themes are fine, if I missed them it's probably because I didn't play them. But questions like "months between price drops" are just crazy.

I hate those months between too, I took like 4 guesses on that one. And although I paid for Turtles...ugh it's just a pain in the ass.
 
I think if I started playing this like George Costanza, I might actually win. All my instincts are wrong and often times the last question I answer is the right one.

I missed the trivia last night, but the reason why TMNT is 600 points has more to do with a third party involved (instead of Nintendo + publisher), because someone owns the TMNT license.

I submitted the 600pt question. The first NES game to cost 600 points was big news to me. I figured all of us here at CAG would be paying attention to VC prices and such.
 
News: For tonight and in the future, if you get a question wrong most of the time you'll get a hint. Big hints for hard questions and minor hints for easy ones. This should help people out from getting stuck on one question for too long.

bee movie game. when i got it wrong the hint said that the first letter prounnounced is the first word, that made it kinda obvious.

i just hit enter on that right away since they said they are giving clues. the clue was that it was a launch title with an animal in the name so that helped. funny thing is that is actually the first game i bought for my wii and i didn't know it at first.
 
I knew the name of the game. I didnt need the hint problem was i didnt know if it had to be with capital letters/seperate/together and then i wrote bananna instead of banana :p

I'm pretty sure that this may be related to the fact that they changed the trivia to match the new time. It probably didn't sync correctly and thinks all of us are jumping ahead somehow. Let them figure it out.
 
I refreshed the page after I posted and the question worked fine afterwards. I almost won during the confusion but I didn't know the C-stick counted as a button. :(
 
I'm kind of pissed though, what the hell was with that first question? I've been trying to avoid spoilers all this time and they put it as the first question.

It doesn't. The eight buttons are A,B,X,Y,L,R,Z,Start.

I finished after the fact though, when someone here said that someone won. Lame.
