The items in the shop...they can only be used once, right? Like the Energy tanks etc.?
Yeah, energy tanks and such can only be used once. I think the only item that's permanent is that "energy balancer" or whatever it was called.

I've beaten two bosses so far: Galaxy Man and Splash Woman. Jewel Man's level is pissing me off. How do you get past the area that has
spikes on the sides and bottom with a hole in the middle of the floor and one of those swing platforms? It's driving me nuts. I keep trying to swing it over enough so I can jump off into the hole while it's out of the way, but I keep running into the spikes on the side.

Yeah, that section is really kind of annoying.
I noticed that in order to miss the spikes you barely even make the platform. I'm all for difficulty, but that was kind of a dick move there.

I know there's an item that allows you to hit spikes once, but I haven't tried it yet.

Um. Isn't it obvious? He meant Mega Ma-

Um.

Mega Ma... n... wich. Mega Manwich. It's, um. It's McDonald's latest attempt to cater to the much-coveted "Lilboo Demographic".

...

Lilboo can be his own demographic if he wants to be, alright? fuck off.

Well lilboo does love a "Mega Manwich" once in a while.

fucking campus internet. Have to wait till Friday to get my MM9 goodness.

Oh well, the only DLC I would buy is Protoman, and unless the special stage is awesome, yeah just Protoman.

Add Splash Woman to that list of bitches & hoebots' names I have taken!! :nottalking:
She was showin me her titties and sprayin her vage at me..BUT THAT DIDN'T PHASE ME. I WAS THINKING ABOUT BUTT-PLUG MAN

She was a pain in the ass..intil you realize how easy it is,
Has Capcom made a statement about why they just NOT put a woman robot in the game?
Heard of What?

He was replying to Fatez.
Who? and where can I find this Mega Manwich?

Is this in the grocers aisle or something out of the Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook?

Plugman's stage reminds me of one of those insanely frustrating custom Mario levels on youtube. Half of me found it entertaining, the other half wanted to chuck the wiimote at the TV.

Mega Man 9=best game on the shop channel. Wow the Soundtrack is amazing and we all know about the gameplay.

As that said now its time dividing in to conquering the Municipality and having Splash Woman spray human juices on mega man. Man i love this week.

edit:

ok not the best game(SMRPG and a host of others) but it does make a push IMO.

Wow, I've been away from the internet for a few weeks, so I wasn't ready for what I'd say is the best VC/WiiWare week ever! MM9 and Super Dodgeball? It's like elementary school all over again.I need to get my Internet set up ASAP.

I think it's safe to say that it's the best Wii-Ware game. It's the first and only one I have.

Took down Splash Woman and Galaxy Man last night, and tried a few other stages. Concrete Man's elephants are annoying. I really like the new stuff they've added to the stages, like Galaxy Man's wormhole warps, and Tornado Man's spinning platforms. I'm not sold on the idea that you can just buy E-tanks at the store. It's been a while since I've gone through the series... did any of the NES games have permenant, rechargeable E-tanks, or were those a feature of the X series? I enjoyed the "hunt" for them a little more, I think, but recharging them all before you go to a boss was always a bit of a chore.

Finally figured out how to tackle Splash Woman's stage now, so I can get to her fight easy. The fight looks easy, but I just keep getting hit accidentally. Yeah, accidentally. Let's go with that.

Beat Galaxy Man's stage today, and
boy those things that drop and grab you. They suck balls.

So how exactly does that make it safe to say it's the best? Snarkiness aside, I'm glad you like it. I got it late last night but am still wrapping up MM2 before I start.

I also started playing Bomberman Blast. It's nice that it has online (because there is no actual "game" - just battle modes), but as much as I love Bomberman it suffers from what every Bomberman game for the last 15 years has - it tries too hard. The graphics are a little too slick for when you need to judge basic grid movements. There are an insane amount of options, but most of the time this leads to too much going on at once on the screen. The CPU-controlled characters are deadly (as always).

I'll get megaman on the ps3. Because of storage issues and a better d pad. If you guys want a real megaman challenge try out mega man 3. Iwill give you a dollar if you can beat it. But you and I know you can't beat it.

A tip for fighting Splash Woman
Since you have Galaxy Man's gun, when she starts using her trident attack, shot a black hole above you, and just stand under it. It will suck in all of her shots and when she moves down she'll go through the black hole and get damaged. Make sure you move out of the way though, and then switch to your normal gun to blast her a few times. Repeat.

ur awsume :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

So I played Super Dodge Ball for an hour last night. I'm glad to finally try it out after idly observing all the praise over the years. I don't want to sound too whippersnapperish--in the manner of the "2D SUX AND IT SHOULD BE CHEEP" that gets strell's blood to boiling--but the slowdown in the game is a big drawback.

It's funny how I don't recall that much slowdown back in the day: well, I remember it, but I don't remember ever thinking it was a problem. Now I'm yelling at the screen, "Scroll over already! JEEZ!"

Once I finally understood Splash Woman and her tampon attacks, I actually beat her and only lost 1 bit of health.

Concrete Man, Galaxy Man, and Splash Women are all pwned. Who should I go for next? :whistle2:k Magma Man's level is fuckin hard. :(

Jewel Man is pretty easy and weak against Galaxy Man, I think.

So far, I've beaten Galaxy Man, Splash Woman, Jewel Man, and Plug Man.

I'll compare it to the sales of other games. I'm assuming this will be the best selling Wii-Ware game so far, thus making it the best. The rest is just my dumb opinion. But seriously what other game is better? I've been wanting to buy a Wii-Ware game, but none of them were appealing.
Iwill give you a dollar if you can beat it. But you and I know you can't beat it.
I've beatin' it about 6 times. Please send $6 to my paypal account: [email protected] Thanks :D

sorry this is kind of random but i remember you were asking if there was an SNES version of Super Dodge Ball..and there is.

Its called Kunio-Kun no Dodgeball Zenin Shuugo.

If you picked up the DS version of Super Dodge Ball, than thats what it is. The DS version is a updated port of the SNES sequel.
I wonder if Mega Man 9 is GOTY worthy, :whistle2:k
I truly think so. its the best rendidtion of NES Mega Man since 3. Even though i really liked 4 and 6.

*Phew* spent 30 minutes doing the time trial on Hornet Man's stage. Finally got ranked #9 with a time of 1:37

How come Mega Man 9 doesn't have it's own thread?

Good question. It does in other forums simply because of the multiplatform-age. Dunno if there's much a point 'round here.

I've beaten...mmm....Concrete Man, Galaxy Man, Tornado Man, and Magma Man. I think I'll take out Splash Woman next.

Still easily the best Wiiware game by far. Now I want to import the soundtrack, and then the remix soundtrack. This music is simply delicious.

I beat it this afternoon. I was feeling warm and fuzzy the entire time I played it. It felt like I was 8 or 9 again. I really hope they put out a new one of these each year as I will always gobble it up.

I just beat it, and it was just as awesome. I checked out the Rankings and someone has beaten it in 29:51. My god, man. And this is only after a day. Imagine what it'll be 3 months from now.

I just beat it too. I had a blast and I want more. Hopefully the Protoman DLC comes out soon. I'd also like to see 8-Bit Bass & Treble, which may not be out of the question since
you see his specs in the background at the ending.

Mega Man 9 = GOTY

Beat Splash Woman, working on Magma Man now.

That is, if the stage doesn't get me first. So many precision jumps... I know how to do the stage now, but it's times where I jump just a couple pixels too early.

I wonder if we will get Bomberman Blast next Monday? I haven't downloaded the 360 Bomberman so I figure I should wait for the Wii one since it should be hoppin' when it gets released.

It's already got a lot of activity worldwide - I was surprised at how many people I could get into a game with most times of day.
