Why aren't cartoons that awesome anymore?
Check out "Chowder" and "The Marvelous Adventures of Flapjack" on Cartoon Network. They both have incredible art style (the latter especially is beautiful to look at) and tend to be hilarious. I originally liked Chowder more, but the newest episodes haven't been that great. Flapjack, however, is an absolute joy. And while I don't know his name off the top of my head, the voice of K'nuckles is one of my favorite voice actors ever (he's the Flying Dutchman on Spongebob, was the boss in Christmas Vacation....his voice just SCREAMS out pirate).
Dallow, I knew P&TB was horrid the second it got its own show. It worked well as a distraction here and there, but they couldn't carry the weight. I remember being annoyed when it got announced as a stand-alone. Tons of kids thought it was great but I knew it was trash.
Tiny Toons is ok, but the quality of the animation jumps wildly. Same with Animaniacs. Some of the shows are gorgeous, with slick, smooth animation. And then there are the ones that are total crap and look like kindergartners drew 'em.
