Whelp, I wonder if Nintendo will still lower the price $100? Hopefully at least 50 and a better holiday bundle. Xbox One is dead to me unless they remove all the anti-consumer features. PS4 is still an option for me until I know more.
Yeah, with the pricing I'm expecting from Sony and MS, they might not have to go with $100 off. I think $50 would probably do it. But who knows, they might want to make a big push and $100 off would certainly garner them some attention. If the One and PS4 are $500 (which I fully expect them to be) then a $250 Deluxe is a home run for Nintendo if they can do that without losing too much money. But then again, they run the risk of looking like a "discount" console if they go
too cheap. It is a fine line to walk. I think making the Deluxe $299.99 would be the best approach (
if those other systems are indeed $499.99).
Also, if they are really coming out with a 3D Mario game this Fall, they could make a sweet bundle with the Deluxe + that for either the current $350 pricing or maybe $300. I think that would sell decently.

I'm hoping Mario 3D, Smash, and Mario Kart live up to the quality of past games because I don't think Sony or MS have anything other than shooting games and multimedia functionality to offer gamers this year.
You forgot "sports", "sports", and more "sports" (to paraphrase the MS reveal talking points

).
