wii u in stock in walmart.com

No Mario game is why I hesitated on buying the Deluxe. I guess that's my wallet's way of saying stop window shopping a read a book.

At the time it let me go all the way to shipping then saw expedited shipping costs were 30 and opted out. Now it says none left.
 
I ordered one earlier today. It let me check out and sent me an email confirming my order. It currently says "Processing".
 
Managed to get a Deluxe ordered 2 days ago when they first popped back in with Mario and ZombiU (zombie fan for over 20 years) and placed a second order for a Basic with Mario. Payed for faster shipping. Both still say "Processing" on the WalMart site but I've heard that they don't update it quickly, kind of like USPS. Basic model is due in today or tomorrow and the Deluxe is due in between today and the 26th.

Since WalMart cancelled two in-store pickups previously, let's hope their online side follows through!
 
Order a Deluxe yesterday. It still shows as "Processing" with a day of arrivial for this Friday to next Wednesday. Has anyone had their "Processing" change to ship yet? I'm just getting concern as it hasn't update yet.

My game shipped but not the console itself, will keep you updated.

Edit: My console did ship as well and will arrive on the 23rd.
 
Yay, Deluxe console shipped but not the games...? Strange, I thought they had plenty of the games in stock? oh well, the important part will be in tomorrow!

Same ordered mine yesterday around 11 am and scored it with mario . Says it'll take to the 23 to the 29 . If I do end up getting mine, can you return just your game at walmart ? The reason I ask is the 40 % off from toysrus . Debating about getting nba 2k13 and zombie u I want something I know thatll be fun and show off the system .:)

This - I was just at Target and they had at least 6 - 8 Wii U's readily available, 3-4 of each type (basic and deluxe).

It looked like there was one family looking to get one, but otherwise people seemed to care less about them.

Oh except 4 stores (TARGET) *cough* said they are getting more tomorrow, but are holding them Until Black Friday! -Fanning flames if you ask me... -Anyways, I asked the Sales kid if he would hold it for me, which he did and I got a Deluxe today!, thing is, Is he told me that they put them out at Midnight after the truck comes in, so if your feeling Vampirical and want a Wii U stop in around 1am and you should get one, otherwise just keep calling! :)

On launch day/morning I drove into my local Target at 9:30 or so and asked if they had a Deluxe available. They said they sold 5 in the morning but no one was around when I asked for it, and I was able to walk out the door with one.

Using Target's website/store locator, I'm seeing that they are in stock at a bunch of stores both near home and also near work (about 50 miles from home). Go target? :)

I won't lie, The thought crossed my mind of how much I could get for it on ebay come Christmas, but I love new Nintendo Consoles, They have this weird new puppy thing about them... :D -While walking out of the store I got some suspicious looks form customers and I almost felt like I should have had it hand cuffed to my wrist! LOL!, I got NSMB, and Zombi U, I'm doing the update right now, So in a few hours we'll see what this thing can do! :)

Pm when you get your nintendo I'd . I forgot I had credit from american express from best buy . So getting this console is working better than I expected it to. Any one else get a confirmation
 
Literally just called every Target and Walmart in the city of Philadelphia (PA) and within 20 miles and none of them had either console in stock. Depressing.
 
As for a new console launch this system has been a failure so far IMO. Drove around on launch night 4 hour before launch and not 1 line was started 360/wii/ps3 all had massive lines days before. My walmart even has the black model in stock o_O Its true most people who did buy it bought it to resell. Now im seeing it go for near retail prices on ebay. With that said the system looks more like nintendo is trying to appeal to its original real fanbase but with hardware that is barely better then the 360 powerwise i really donno what to think, just seems like what the wii i bought 6 years ago should of been in the first place which makes me not care all the much about it till i see a must have title. A proper HD zelda would prob get me to buy it. But so far the smash brother game they announced isnt bein developed by nintendo this time just make me worry about it to much to warrant a purcahse at this time.
 
I'm thinking in 2 weeks these things will be very hard to find. After this weekend parents will know about the Wii U.

Pretty much this the other lady who was getting it when I did was like This is the new Wii right not the old one. I think there are some people who are informed but most parents unless they themselves are gamers know a whole lot about it.
 
Sweet! Both Deluxe and Basic units are shipped and will be in tomorrow with SMB and ZombiU! Just one copy of SMB on back order for a day.

Can't complain considering I couldn't find anything in the Tampa Bay area. I swear this is scalper-central.

No problem finding em where I live in the northeastern PA ,problem is I only have a walmart creditcard I can use ,since I want my spending cash for blackfriday sales

If I could find one, even a standard one, I'd buy it on the spot. If I am going to buy online then I will wait for the Deluxe model. I know it doesn't make sense, but if I am going to buy one in person I can justify getting the lesser model because I get the instant satisfaction of being able to play instead of waiting for shipping.
 
I'm seeing them all over.. and 3 Targets in the area had Deluxe's when I looked earlier today. I hemmed and hawed and settled on not spending $350 until I see some decent games drop though. KILLING me not to be a week 1 purchase though.

Update on my walmart order (rushed deliv)
ordered at 7AM on the 20th
processed on the 20th around 3 pm
will arrive tomorrow


Sad thing is the games ARE NOT GUARANTED TO BE SHIPPED WITH CONSOLE,my nintendoland is still processing so yeah
