I've been watching them since I want all 3 of those games. They haven't gone on sale yet. They were originally listed as going on sale on the 5th but now I've read on multiple sites they've been pushed to the 12th.

I've seen some discussion regarding 16GB and 32GB models. From what I've read, AT&T currently only offers the 16GB model, but will offer the 32GB model in the future? Is this true? If so, does anyone know roughly when the 32GB model will be available? I could probably wait a couple months if it meant +16GB of storage. If it's going to be longer than that, I'm probably better off just grabbing the 16GB model now.
Also, to clarify, I am aware it has expandable storage, and I will be adding a 64GB Class 10 to it. I would still rather have 96GB than 80GB.

Question 3
Is there something better than the Nokia Lumia 1520 coming in the near future? I love the "future proof" specs of the 1520, but I wouldn't mind a slightly smaller model. Is there something comparable to the 1520 expected in early 2014, Nokia or otherwise?

The 1520 is the best thing for a while. They are supposedly going to release a 32 GB model but we don't know when. Me, I am waiting on it since we get stuck with one device for years on contract.

Next year, Microsoft will finally allow apps and games to be run from SD card. No real details on that other than it's going to happen.

Thanks, eastx.  I think I'll wait until after CES, just in case something amazing catches my eye.  Otherwise, I'm on board for the 1520.

Grabbed Contre Jour & Storm in a Teacup. Not sure about SPY mouse though. Vampire Rush has really bad reviews. Any recommendations?

What sucks is that with all these EA games going on sale. The one I REALLY want never does. I may just pay full price for Plants vs Zombies before too long. :(

I grabbed the same two so far. I thought about Vampire Rush for a couple seconds but just really didn't like the look of it from the screenshots. I'm still debating Spy Mouse I'm only holding out because I'm a bit of an achievement junkie and I can't find an achievement guide anywhere, the fact that only 37 people have completed it 100% on TA will probably make me pass on it.

Yes, but they have said they'll update it for 512 MB phones eventually. Not sure why some devs take that route - maybe it takes more time to squeeze a game down for less RAM.

 
It's depressing how little attention Xbox-enabled games are getting.

EastX, are there actually any upcoming Xbox-enabled games coming out for the platform?

I think a lot of the bigger name announced stuff like Madden, Dead Space and Pinball FX2 has been quietly cancelled from what I've seen onine, and I can't think of anything else coming out for sure soon.

 
Somebody needs to start a petition or something to get MS attention about putting more effort into getting games to go Xbox-Enabled. I know plenty of people at X360 and TA would be all over it.

EastX wrote like a 6 segment article about it and it got a ton of support. If MS didn't get the message from that, I doubt they get the message from anything else.

It's dead. Such a wasted opportunity, too.

 
Anyone who's played storm in a teacup have you tried playing challenge level 5? My game crashes everytime I try to load it, I even uninstalled and played through the game again to unlock it and it's still happening. Annoying as hell since this one level is stopping me from getting the last 2 achievements.
 
Rayman Jungle Run and Gravity Guy 2 are both .99 as part of the "12 Deals of Red Stripe".  Don't really know what that is, I'm hoping it's 12 days of new deals.

Damit. Now you have my hopes up that they may put a game I want on sale *cough*PvZ*cough*. I'm setting myself up for a mighty dbig disappointment. How is Gravity Guy 2? I played the first one on Win8 and it was decent. The achievements are somewhat of a pain in the ass though.

Gravity Guy 2 is much better than 1 IMO. However, it's a clone of Jetpack Joyride and Jetpack Joyride has a lot more content.

I downloaded Gravity Guy 2 earlier. It's fun, but I'm kind of disappointed it didn't do more to build off the gameplay of the first one. The first one would have been a classic if it didn't get so stupidly hard after awhhile.

 
I hated Gravity Guy 2 compared to the first one.  Basically you lift platforms and jump.  Original was more challenging and far more enjoyable in my opinion.

 
Hmmm all this talk has me intrigued enough now that I may try GG2. I loved Jetpack Joyride, so a clone would be welcome. If nothing else I can get some achievements out of it. :)

I finally came to terms with the fact that I will never get anywhere in Six Guns so I uninstalled it. I feel so relieved. This freed up a ton of space on my WP so I can actually download games now. There are a couple more I need to get rid of that are taking up more than their fair share of space. Are you still playing Kingdoms & Lords EastX? The only reason I still have it on my WP is to allow friends to invade my kingdom if they need that achievement.

Admittedly I've only played a little Gravity Guy 2, compared to the hours and hours I've put into Jetpack Joyride, but Jetpack Joyride seems leagues better.

 
Damit! I bought the game. Now that I look at the achievement list there is one glitched unobtainable one. Achievements aside I DO NOT support glitched product on principle. This sucks.

Yep that's the reason I didn't buy it. Game looks cool but then I hopped online and saw the unobtainable achievement. I've gotten caught once or twice but I try to avoid buying games with glitched achievements as well.

 
are there any projected xbl supported Windows phone games on the horizon? like anything announced? My nokia w8 phone will no longer charge, even if I apply pressure to the charge cord. Went by for a couple months with the no charge problem but it would still charge if I applied pressure to the cord. This is the second windows phone Ive had thats had this problem. I sold my windows 7 phone to my friend once I bought a windows 8 phone and like 5 months later he started having charge problems, so I think I may get an Iphone for my next phone. But if theres any xbl enabled games coming out soon I may get a windows phone again..but it seems to be a dying product. 

I have a lot of unfinished xbl windows phone games too so its going to suck that I cant even get a charge no matter what Ive tried out of this phone. Spent probaly over $300 on games. But that was the main buy for me. The xbl games. Everything else about the phone I could care less for. I hate how it syncs with your computer. I hack its lack of apps and games that iphones and droids have, and lately my phone has just taken forever to load websites..but that could be any phone.

When AC and some other games got relisted a little while back they were $1 for like 12 hours or something. I regret purchasing it at that price. Let's Golf 2 is also $1.99, it has an unobtainable achievement though.

If Xbox on WP truly is dead (which it looks to be) I'm definitely going back to Android. I don't know what MS is thinking Xbox on WP is the only thing keeping the WP afloat IMO. Take away achievements and there is no reason to choose a WP over an Android or IOS phone.

I think the WP still has plenty of redeeming qualities without Xbox enabled games. The inclusion of Office is a great resource since I can type papers away from my computer and email them to myself as a word doc. The Live Tiles are also much better than iOS and a step above Android. Also, the higher end Nokia camera phones are amazing. The 1020 is miles beyond any thing Apple has put out.

That sad, losing those Xbox games will hinder any market share WP has clawed away from iOS and Android.

Bought myself an iPhone 5 c today. Think I may start trying for achievements on Game Center games. It's not the same but damn what a large selection of games and a lot of free ones. Don't know what I'm going to do with my brick of a windows phone now though.

Ugh! Retreads that were cheaper not too long ago. No Christmas money for Gameloft from me. Bah humbug!

 
Amazon has a couple WP8 Go Phone options today as their deal of the day. The 520 is down to $40. Not sure if that's a great price, but seems ok for a cheap backup if you want one.
