I LOVE FF3, and will gladly support more Xbox achievement enabled games coming to WP, but what's this I read here about no more Xbox enabled WP games?

I can swear I read that in this topic..

Gameloft (a major WP Live enabled games producer) is no longer making their games XBL enabled.

Rovio might be also with Angry Birds Go not having XBL. However, for the first week, I was getting daily updates for Go. Maybe that's why they chose to skip XBL this time and their next game will have it.

Nokia lumia I think 920.
If you don't want to try to repair it, you could get a few bucks for it on eBay. I was going to try buying a broken phone or two so I could use the parts to fix my wife's broken phone, but they all cost more than I was willing to pay, which is why I went ahead and just bought her a working one instead. It'd still be nice if I could get the broken one working again, though. I can't upgrade for a few more months and when the time finally comes, I'm not sure I'll even be able to afford something decent (would like to get the Lumia 1520).

Hmm I didn't get the update. I'll just give it some time.

Also, since you always seem to be in the know Paul. Do you have any idea when the patch to run games off SD card will be released? Spring, Summer, never?
That will be part of the Windows Phone 8.1 update, which will hopefully arrive in the summer or fall.

Bah! That's too far away. I have to keep juggling games until then I suppose.

Thanks for the answer....why are you not drunk yet?

Yep, definitely too far away. I'll be juggling things on my 920 until they finally release a 6 inch phone with 32 GB of storage, myself. So I feel your pain.

I had a glass of wine last night while the GF and I watched Pain & Gain to celebrate the New Year. Not a super happy movie, so it didn't encourage proper drunkenness. Will try to make up for it tonight. :)

Hope your New Year is good too!

I saw some unofficial SnapChat apps on WP. If you have one, look up your username here http://lookup.gibsonsec.org/

Checked one account for my friend who was getting bot messages for the past couple days. His account was on there.

Already have Doodle God, so I'm curious what W8 sale is. Little disappointed with BlazBlue not having story/multiplayer, but for $3 I can't complain too much.

I'm def going to wait until the new FF goes on sale. $10 is the ceiling for mobile games for me.

Also, I've been searching for San Andreas on the store at least 4 times a day for the past couple weeks.

I am surprised how many Mario games were created for the WinPhone. I am even more surprised that apparently no "cease and desist" letters were sent by Nintendo to those individuals and Microsoft.

I played the demo of Doodle God. I cant believe that is even a game, Is there any more depth than clicking 2 elements to make more elements to click to other elements?

The best part is that it has easy achievements with a guide, but it feels so long while doing it.

Waiting for achievements to be added before playing it. Still have too much of the games we just got to play.

Anybody know if App Studio accounts are still free? Wasn't sure if I made mine as part of a promotion or something. Made a Killer Instinct app with the help of somebody at SRK and would like to share it with friends and the SRK Killer Instinct community, but I don't want them to need to pay anything for it.

Was just browsing the store and noticed Plants Vs Zombies is $2.99. Not sure if this is a sale but I coulda sworn it was usually $4.99. It also looks like some other games have a dollar knocked off the price. Battleship and Yahtzee and a few other EA games are at $1.99 when I believe their normal price is $2.99. I'm not 100% any of these are sale prices just thought I remembered all of these at higher prices, I could be wrong.

Any thoughts/opinions on Chaos rings? I'm an old school JRPG guy, but find the idea of playing one on a phone not too appealing.

Boy those were fun to write. As was playing the game. :whistle2:D

Playing long games like RPGs on your phone is actually super convenient, because you can squeeze in progress here and there throughout your day. Way easier than having to block hours at home for it (as you get older).

I bought it because I know everyone in this thread is sick of me whining about it never going on sale. Now I have to find something else to whine about. As for your question, PvZ is a fantastic game so grab it. This is the 6th different version of the game that I buy.

I am not sure why the same game needs only 512MB of RAM on WinPhone7 while requiring 1GB on WinPhone8, but it's pointless to wonder I guess. So what's the Windows 8 deal this week? I am already ecstatic that PvZ on WP went on sale (even if it's not the $1 I was hoping for). A similar sale on the Win8 version or Cut the Rope would satisfy my need to collect as many copies of these games as possible.

Glad you grabbed it, I even considered PM'ing you just to make sure you saw it.

All those $1.99 games really need to be $0.99. Cheapskates.

Thanks Tyler. I didn't even read the rest of the posts before I grabbed my phone and bought it. $3 is still a bit on the expensive side, but I was doing it for ALL OF you guys here. Yes, I am that type of guy. Thinking of you first. :)

I agree about those games needing to be $1 each. I may grab Jet Set Go if I can make the space for it on my phone. I am not really hurting for any new games though.

After a brief 5 minutes of online chat with Microsoft Support, I just received a refund for all of the delisted Windows Phone games I've purchased over the past 2 years.  8 games, $10.52.  :D/

If you've purchased any delisted games and would like a refund, contact Microsoft Support's online chat (US link).  You must be signed into the Microsoft account that purchased the games, and have all related details handy from your purchase history (purchase date, game/app title, payment method).

I was very surprised at how painless the entire process was.  I've had to contact Microsoft Support dozens of times over the past 8+ years for various reasons.  This was the best experience I've ever had doing so.  I don't know if this is an indication that Microsoft's general Support efforts have improved, or just the Windows Phone division.  Either way, I'm very happy.

Haha Microsoft can wrap their mouth around a tailpipe for all I care, so I'm going to give it a shot. Just need to browse WPC for articles about delisted games.

And hopefully they credit my card instead of just giving me credit, since I don't really have anything to spend it on anymore.

Woohoo, got $26.62 for 12 games.  Took about 25 minutes but it was worth it.  Should have been closer to $34, but what am I gonna do, complain about free money I don't really feel I'm entitled to?  Hell NO!  Thanks ncogneato, still the best avatar on the site!

This also leads to another question.  Using ncogneato's links, I realized I still have access to my Microsoft account history, and it shows I have $18.80 still on my account (which was how much was on there when I was banned).  Any possible chance I can try and request a refund for this?  I doubt it, but maybe someone knows.  Otherwise, is there anything else I can possibly spend it on besides content on Xbox?

Looks like the Windows 8 deal this week is iStunt2. Fun game. I have no idea how much it is though since I already own it.

Thanks guys, I gave the refund a shot over the 12 games I bought which are delisted. Took about a half hour and I got $35 worth of Microsoft points that I redeemed onto my account.
