Shuffle Party came out this week, and it's free. I'm having a lot of fun with it, enjoying it more than the other two free ones that came out earlier.

Also, it would be awesome if some of you WP7 owners wanted to add me as a friend. I'd love to have a few more names on my leaderboards to compete with. GT: tylerh1701

Thanks.
Anyone see the companion app pop up yet? I was looking forward to its release today.
Haven't looked, but since the Xbox dashboard was delayed, my guess is this is as well.

Why, that's what my review is for! Basically, the controls are really bad and there are several tough Achievements, requiring at least 3 playthroughs on different difficulties. But the core gameplay is fun, so some people will still enjoy it.

I'm downloading the demo, but not expecting much. Really liked the "Earthworm Jim returns as the Xbox Live Deal of the Week, still kinda slimy". Made me laugh.

UPDATE: Played demo, fumbled with the controls feebly for about 2 minutes, deleted. Think I'll cave on Angry Birds at full price instead.

Hasta La Muerte is supposed to release today, but I haven't seen it.

Also still waiting on the Companion App.

I did a search and found Hasta La Muerte. It's $2.99. I'm downloading the demo now.

Not finding the companion app.

Two tips for Hasta...

Turn the phone 180 degrees, much easier to play with the "A" button away from the back button.

Make sure you calibrate the game in the menu.

It's a really cool, unique game. I bought it to support more creative stuff like this.
I enjoyed the demo of HM. Only 2.99 so might buy it. Achievements easy enough Sean?
There's a few that would take some skill (rank related) but everything else is easy enough.

Yeah, I was happy to be able to review both Fusion games and look at the connectivity in depth. But Sentient is definitely just a quick and dirty companion app to the much nicer Fusion: Genesis XBLA game.
Going to sound like a weird question but anyone know how to re-add "myself" to the home screen?
Do you mean to the Xbox Live tile, and your avatar turned into just a white frame of a person? If so, that happened to me a while back, and as far as I could tell it just sorta fixed itself after a few days. I was annoyed about it, then all of a sudden one day it came back.

It happened to me after I changed my password on Xbox.

Exu knows what I mean. I switched phones with my wife and I have her phone synced to my Live ID and had this deleted on her phone as it would just be myself and not her. Confusing I know -_- but thanks Exu.

I'm putting together an article about the 5 best and 5 worst WP7 Xbox Live games of 2011. I've also decided to compile readers' opinions. If you guys would like to participate, please post in this thread at WPCentral.

I just noticed that two more live games are coming out free!! At least that is what the front page has Breeze and Bugs listed for. Nice.. I like that we are getting a selection of free live games. :) Makes me warm inside.

BTW: Thank you Sean for the response.

My Tentacles review is live!

Anyone who thought the game was too difficult, please chime in and say so in the review's comments section. I would seriously, really appreciate some backup on this - even if you normally ignore my requests, please help me out here.

Unfortunately I haven't played it, otherwise I'd love to help. Sorry.

I'm having a problem with the Xbox Companion app. I installed it over the weekend and can not get it to work. I've got my 360 on and the companion setting to available. My WP7 is connected to the same home network and it can see the internet as I can browse the internet and such.

When I launch the app on the phone, it says it can not connect to Xbox Live or something. Anyone else having a problem with this?

Just a note, I don't use my WP7 as a phone. I have it in airplane mode, with WiFi turned on. Not sure if the Xbox Companion app requires a phone connection to work for some odd reason.
Tentacles! Nice. So 2.99 probably. :) I will purchase.
and Breeze for free? Love it.
Probably? It's not that hard to click the link. :p

I hope you destroy the reverse control tilt levels in your review of Breeze EastX. they're fucking stupid.

EDIT: Luckily there are only 2 in the whole game, they are really a pain though. Probably easier on the "touch" mode, I haven't tried it yet.

Sweet. In for Hydro Thunder. And I didn't realize Breeze was free.

After avoiding a couple tickets this morning, this really is turning into a good day.

Touch control is MUCH easier... As for those two levels... yeah they are 100% luck (ski jump and slingshot)... both of them had me quit the game multiple times in frustration.

Also just picked up Fruit Ninja.

Sorry Paul. Just got it and started it, and it does ramp up in difficulty. LOVE the game, but it does leave a sour taste when you don't get achievements if you put it to easy difficulty...and it still is not easy. lol.. I will post on wpcentral for ya..promise!

The other piece is love the deal this week. Own fruity ninjas-great game and easy achievements. Already picked up fable coin, another stellar title-easy achievements. Now I finally get to grab the other title on sale..hydro thunder.

Finally Fruit Ninja! Also tempted on Hydro Thunder; already passed on Fable Coin Golf before, so might as well do it again. I hope there will be another surprise or two for the countdown!

Probably not, but we may still get a deal of the week.
Sims 3 is the Deal of the Week. Will have an interesting post ready when the sale goes live later on.
Looking forward to it.

EDIT: Wait, $4.99 is the sale price? I thought $4.99 was regular price and it would drop to $2.99. No way I'm buying it for $5. Hhahahaahahahahahhahaahahha

EDIT 2: Hahahhahahahahahaahahhaha

If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it: I plan on getting a Windows phone in a couple of months...is there a way I can buy these from a Marketplace and install them when I get the phone, or do you have to buy from the phone itself? Also, does anyone know if you can just buy a Windows phone and use it without a service plan (wifi only)?

I know I can at least answer one of your questions. You can buy a WP7 phone and buy the game via wifi. You also can transfer that purchase to your next wp7 phone. I was initially w/ tmobile, bought fruit ninja, and later went to sprint and was able to redownload prior purchases as they are tied to my account. :) Hope that helps. As for buying w/out the phone, no. Unless it changed and I am not aware.

OT: Hydro Go is awesome. WAY better than I thought it would be. Very happy with my purchase. Also, I highly recommend Fable coin golf. It is a very solid on the go title and the achievements are fun and not difficult.

Sims 3-I believe the save aspect to this title is broken, plus it just is not very good. I also think it was on sale a couple months ago?

Hope we get another count down sale! There are like 11 titles I am waiting for a deal on. Kinectimals, Lets golf 2, Orbital, burn the rope, gravity guy, Sallys Salon, PVZ, Harbor Master, Tike Towers, de blob, and Twin blades are games I have been waiting for! Here that publisher and MS!

Bought Fable Coin Golf when it went on sale last time. I still have the final set of levels to complete, but I'm waiting for it to get updated for Mango. Not for any real reason though.

I bit on Fruit Ninja instantly. I'm tempted by Hydro Thunder Go, but I've been playing my 3DS A LOT on my commutes recently, so I don't know if I have time for it on the phone.

The only game I really want to go on sale now is Pac-Man CE DX. I loved the demo and would bite at $5. No 360 nor PS3, so it'll do :)

Rumor is that Cro-Mag Rally will be DOTW for $2. Have you played it since the update Paul? I'm gonna check out the demo, but not holding out too much hope based on your review of the pre-patched game.

Yeah, my review is post-update. I don't think Cro-Mag Rally is any fun at all, but it's an easy 200 if you put the time into it.

Also, check out indie puzzler Buzzwords if you like Bookworm and word-finding games. It's only a dollar.
