So you didn't get the slippers when you beat the challenge I sent? After you beat it, it sent back to me and I beat your score, and I didnt get the slippers either. I guessI am misunderstanding how to get them.

Also, I didnt get your other challenge, if you sent it.

Odd, I got the one that you first sent again now that you beat it, but it said I sent you a different one as well, not sure why it didn't go through. Under the slippers it says the best in a leaderboard, so maybe each level has a leaderboard that we have to beat multiple people at?

Is anyone else having trouble with Fling? When I try to start it, it goes to a black loading screen for a few seconds and then just goes back to my list of games.

Not having that problem with Fling, but I believe I've had it before with other games. A simple phone restart always fixed everything for me.

I had tried that to no avail, but I just tried again and it worked. Weird. This is definitely going on my To Buy list.
^Excellent article. I'm curious, have you had any luck unlocking the slippers Paul?
I'll second this. Great article, even tho I barely played passed the tutorial levels. I'm impressed by the developers and community working some well together.

Super Monkey Ball 2 now available - Despite the negative tone of the article, SMB 2 is decently fun. Just hate how tough the crowns are.
So Chickens Can't Fly is well worth a dollar?
Yes sir! Buy! Buy! Buy!!!

Gerbils seems ok. Love how Eastx put Lemmiwinks picture in the article. All I can think about is Mr. Slave now when playing the trial of the game.
Trial seems ok, not as fluid as I hoped. Anyone purchase and feel satisfied with the title?

Heck yes, I'm having a blast with it. It's a lot like the console version, but different enough to stay fresh. And the achievements are really easy if you care about that sort of thing.

Chicken's can't fly is a fun game. Well worth the $1 and one of the more fun games i've come across on WP7. Avatar awards, ringtones, achievements, multiplayer challenge(s) and what not. Any price confirmation on Mush? By the way, I gave in and purchased all the Paid DLC for chickens can't fly :p

I'm enjoying Gerbils Physics, i may have to purchase it lol. I don't know if i'm that interested in Mush, a lot of games with that art style usually turn me off, but I'll try the demo for it.

thanks, may buy then. I think I am hesitant because games are hitting that .99 price. It is only a dollar more sooo maybe I should concern myself with those thoughts.
Mush actually looks like a terrific platformer. It'll be $2.99, BTW.
Fair price, it looks like a lot of work has gone into it. I'll definitely get the demo and see how much I like it.

I bit on Gerbil Physics. Fun little game that makes me smile every time I see the gerbils getting blown up. The frightened look on their faces when there is a bomb right in front of them is worth the $2 alone.

Just want to say how well chickens can't fly was developed. The option to pin a live tile for the game, another tile for multiplayer is just cool. If mush is exclusive might bite. PvZ this week as dotw? Oregon trail needs a price drop. Would like to own it.

Dragon's Blade is really awesome. I think most of the appeal is just playing an online game on my phone's network, though.

Was there 4th of July sales last year? I cannot remember what holiday MS put games on sale for? Maybe my memory is super poor and it was recent. Oh well. I also noticed a good amount of WP7 titles had their achievements annoucned over the weekend, on xbox360achievements.org

No 4th Sale, I think Father's day had a sale this year? I found a weird game, wonder if it is still in the works?
We'll be announcing next week's Xbox Live game tomorrow. Tease: it'll cost 99 cents.
Sweet. Maybe "Little Acorns"

Whoops, I spoke too soon. The publisher actually quoted me a release date of 7/05, which would be this Thursday. That does not seem to be accurate, so I'm now in a weird position or whether or not to report on it... Argh.
Sweet. Maybe "Little Acorns"
That's what I am really hoping for. I've been looking forward to it since I saw it on Zebrasqual's site, and it is apparently a Chillingo game, so if they do the same price as the iOS version like they did with Feed Me Oil, I will be very pleaed :D

And I am really enjoying Gerbil Physics. It's easy enough where you don't have to be perfect to beat a level, but can always improve for a better score. Definitely worth $2.

I've purchased most of the .99 cent games and enjoyed them. The only games I haven't purchased that are a $1 are Battlewagon (the only game from that company I cannot get into) and burn the rope along with Glyder. I think it's the tilt controls that i'm not fond of and burn the rope will have you looking like a crazed person in public playing it :p

PvZ as DoTW? Yes, please.

Do it!!!! :D

My phones listing bejeweled live as dotw right now, though the price is coming up at 4.99, which I'm pretty sure is the normal price.

Yup, so is mine. The updated price must not be live yet.

Bejeweled was one of the very first Live games to release to WP, so it's quite overpriced. Even at $2.99 (it's probable DotW price) I'll probably end up passing.

I was gonna say at least I'm thankful that it's never been DotW before, but it has. It was just before my time.

yea they put it on sale the week PVZ came out. I spent 8 dollars that week and I never looked back.

So you'd recommend Bejeweled for $3? Just tried the demo and it controlled pretty well. How tough are the achievements?

Glad to see someone else enjoys it. I just completed all of the objectives and achievements a few minutes ago and now I'm a little bummed that it's over.

If you like bejeweled then yes. Using your fingers is a lot easier compared to a controller or mouse. Achievements are a lot easier compared to the Xbox version, but there are a handful of tough ones. it does however have the impossible get x amount of matches achievement. I don't remember how many but it is worse then the angry birds collection achievements.

I'm on my phone so I won't edit my post. To help you out I am missing 3 achievements and I have played the game 10 hours. I have collected 50000 gems and that hard achievement I was talking about is collect 1 million (not going to happen). The other 2 are luck based that would with more play.

I really enjoyed it as well, for what it's worth. I liked that it was never stupid hard, like a lot of physics puzzlers.

Thank you. I don't love Bejeweled, but I think playing with a touch screen might make it more enjoyable than with a controller or mouse, like you say.

Plus, I'm flying to Vegas on Thursday, might be a good plane-ride game.
Final Fantasy review - One of my best reviews, I think. Was much longer but I cut it down to a still-pretty-large length.

Mush now available

Bejeweled is DOTW again

As usual, please comment on the actual articles at WPCentral if you enjoy them. And even if you don't enjoy 'em!
Cool, commented on all of them. Mush demo wasn't too bad, feels like it's worth $2.99. I'll probably buy it later this week if I need to kill some time on my vacation. I'll also probably break down and buy Bejeweled thanks to the positive reviews and impressions here. $6, it's gonna be an expensive week!

Appreciate it, Tyler! Hope you enjoy the trip.

Speaking of vacations, I might get to attend Casual Connect in Seattle later this month in order to hunt for WP news. Fingers crossed!
