I don't know about GB but I haven't found anything good in Milwaukee recently .
What areas in Milwaukee are you looking? The NW side is pretty dry and has been that way for months now.

Just wondering if anyone here has visited the Play N Trade in Hartford yet? Looking for some good stores to pick up retro games (especially NES, SNES, GBC/GBA) and I'm not sure if the 40 minute drive is worth it.

didnt pm, but i got the gift card at BB in janesville. funny thing is they didnt ring the GC up, so i could just return the game and keep the $20. fun game tho, co-op at least.
Anyone PM BB RE5 for $40?
Got shot down trying to match the TRU deal but had $15 in RZ cert. so $44.99 is not bad for RE5

I'm surprised no one succeeded. I PMed at the one in Brookfield and they approved after a little chat with their mangaer.

Well usually I am always approved at the Mayfair one but I did not hear about it until later so I tried the one in Menomonee Falls by my work and they always shoot down everything.

I was able to use a print out from radio shack back when SCIV was $19.97 and get that at the mayfair one with no issues.

The last two guys reporting in here what area in milwaukee or around are you from?

I usually look around my area so mainly NW side of Milwaukee and Brookfield areas.. sometimes in the Menomonee Falls but there is a hoarder out there who sells on ebay and usually cleans everything out instantly.

What area does this hoarder cover? DO you know? I hate that type of sh1t....I never ever considered buying more than one copy of clearance items...and if i did buy, it was for me...not to sell on Ebay....and i've been scouring targets for like 6 years since i was in college in WhitewaTER and would go to Farmertown Janesville Targets.....

wait....flashback....I guess i was a hoarder once....back in the day when animal crossing was out, target had a bundle that came with the game and a memory card....bigger than the memory card that came with the game. I remember I saw it on clearance and wanted that game, but didn't want to spend $29.xx on it...even on clearance and with the xtra memory card. Then i checked ebay and saw what they were going for and went back and bought all five bundles and seperated them and sold them......was able to keep one animal crossing and a memory card that was paid for by selling th rest...

but those days are long gone......

I hate hoarders.....and hiders. Where could you possibly hide some games and not look suspiscious, or expect it to be there in a week??? I worked at New Berlin Target for a year and with zoning every night, clearance items would end up back where they belong....

I have no clue on how far this hoarder goes for games I just know that mainly the NW Side,Menomonee Falls, brookfield and Pewaukee GC are usually cleaned out of anything real fast... I found this guy on ebay looking for games and came across him and he is in the menomonee falls area and granted his games are not priced to high but he lists them in a different catagory so he gets away with like $6.50 shipping and he ships media mail
!!!!!
I contacted this guy on several occasions asking if I bought a bunch of games and added like $10 extra would he meet or could I come pick up but he refuses and said full shipping on everything also no combined.. what a fuck tard im not paying way over inflated shipping for an item located at most 10 mins north of where I live.....

But pretty much I know buy his selection that he gets a healthy restocking on games from target's clearance and Kmart as well.. I could almost bet as well that hes a lurker around here as well.,,

Man, that suck....i have noticed that I haven't seen too many "steals" below the 30% mark. Though I usually just do Waukesha and New Berlin Target. Wal-Mart suck and so does Kmart as far as GC.

that guy is total turd...doesn't he have a job?

It's like at Goodwill, I use to hit the Jackpot all the time for old NES games, now all the ee's snatch everything up before it hits the floor, and if they don't get it in time....I actually saw an employee ask this chick that worked there also to grab the NES off those wheeled carts and she snuck it to the back room....
I suppose if I worked there I would do the same....

I was really hoping to get Last Remnant at Target for $15 but I had no luck, by the time those games dropped in price they were already gone :(
Anything new you guys?
Other then the Blockbuster stuff like everyone else is getting not to much besides small little things here and there.

yeah me neither, just bought a house and moved in this past week, I still haven't transferred internet and phone so can only access from work. No COD4 for a month now...or any games for that matter
Derrick- You ever pick up SR2:CE?
Nope and just sold my regular edition to someone on here for cost..

My birthday is soon why dont you suprise me haha.. I will maybe be able to get out there this weekend.

Best Buy (W. Madison) has most of the $10 clearance games available as of today. They are in the regular 360 section and all have little Best Buy stickers on the top. The sale starts this Sunday morning.

The question is do they ring up as $9.99 because all the local stores around me have the games for the sale with the yellow sticker already but nothing changed at the one store I checked.

No. They ring up at regular price. Still, if you buy them now you can bring in your receipt on Sunday and have the prices adjusted to $10 each. That way you can guarantee picking up the titles you want rather than sorting through the leftovers.

Thats alright the game or two im looking to snag are not going to be the popular ones to grab seeing they are normally like $20-30 so theres not a huge re-sell potential which will probably cause them to be looked over..

Unless of course some scumbag just walks in and grabs anything and everything with a yellow round sticker...

Just to try and help me with one of the games I mixed it in with the buttloads of copies of this one sports game..
how do you add a CML link to profile
From this page to to the top and click " User CP" then "Edit Profile Details" Scroll down until you see the area to fill in the link to your "Trade List" and there you go :bouncy:

I hit up the Racine Best Buy this morning, along with the Wal-Mart.

Best Buy did not have a lot for their $10 sale. No Silent Hill, Infinite Undiscovery, Too Human, Pure, Soul Calibur, or 007 for 360. Their selection was pretty limited, and there was a decent crowd there, so if you didn't get there this morning, don't expect much to be left this afternoon.

Wal-Mart PM'd Pure and Devil May Cry 4 for me though, although they were a little hesitant.

Hit up the Mayfair RD Best Buy this morning at open and no one was there untill about 10 mins after store open... Did manage to get what I wanted and did not see to many people buying like crazy which suprised me seeing this is the flagship store of the area.

Did they have any copies of Too Human?

I have no idea because I was looking for Overlord and then Ninja Gaiden and Away:Shuffle Dungeon on the DS.. Did not look at the 360 stuff because that area was swamped.

I went back to Best Buy (Madison West) this afternoon and was able to price adjust all the games I bought on Thursday. ~$230 credit back on my card...not bad. I checked out the game section to see what they had left. It was absolutely destroyed. They only had copies of the complete shit games that you would expect to be there. The morning crowd came in there with a vengeance. Wow.

They still have 5 or so copies of The Golden Compass (lol). GO GET'EM!

i was able to get to the East Side Madison store to price adjust my few games i bought in the week..

still wasnt able to get Pure or NHL 2k9
maybe i will try to get WalMart to pricematch pure since that's one of the ones in the add.

I was there yesterday morning. Got there about 2 minutes after 10am and grabbed Rock Band and the last copy of Soul Calibur IV...the two games I had gone for. I went back and forth on 007, but ended up not getting it (not a Bond fan at all). I also picked up Blitz II at Target a couple days before for the same price (clearance!), though I probably should have waited until yesterday to get it at BBY, just for the RZ points. Oh well.
Any Best Buys around Milwaukee have Pure for 360 left?
none in Madison had it
but i was able to get walmart to pricematch pure for me if that helps

Walmart (West Madison) has all the games shown in the Best Buy ad for $9.99. No price match necessary. They automatically ring up $9.99. Nobody seems to know this (or care) because they have plenty of copies of everything (easily 8-10 copies of Pure for example). Minus one Red Alert 3 after I left.

The BB here in Racine doesn't have it, and neither does the one in Kenosha. Your best bet would be to go have Wal-Mart PM it.

the Kenosha BB ran out of Pure a week before the sale started. I was keeping an eye on them (had no money at the time but wanted it). Just ended up getting a pm at Wal-Mart. Still wish I was able to find Operation Darkness, Blitz 2 and Silent Hill but no luck at either the Kenosha or Racine store (hit up the Kenosha store about 20 minutes after they opened and about 1 for the Racine store).

Didn't make out to bad though. SCIV, Red Alert 3 and Pure at Wal-Mart and IU and 007 at Best Buy

Operation Darkness

This a good game? I picked it up because it looked cool. Picked up Soul Calibur IV, Fracture, OD, some sing it and singstar games for my daughter, silent hill homecoming, and......

three rock revolutions that i immediately traded in to BBV for $19 each!, but then they didn't have shit for games and I didn't have nothing to buy, ended up buying Rockband 2 for the wife for $30 and with $27 credit....oh well

I had Operation Darkness when I had my 360 and the only Game you can compare it to in the "Gameplay" department would be Valkyria Chronicles.

It has very similar play but of course it does not look as good and play as well as Valkyria Chronicles..

Either way thats the best example I can give but for $9.99 I is worth a try.

thanks, maybe I should play that before I play VC. Or OD may be ruined. That's what happened when I started playing CoD4, in my mind nothing could compare and I passed on a lot shooters because of it...

Ha ha COD4 is still freaking awesome, if you have a PS3 though and you play Killzone 2 the sheer eye candy that badboy shells out will make other FPS look bland.
