So I order a pizza through PizzaHut.com, and I use an online coupon to get a Medium Stuffed Crust Double Pepperoni for $11.97. After about 40 minutes, I notice no pizza. Then I pick up my silenced phone, to see a couple missed calls. It's Pizza Hut. I call them back, and they tell me the delivery guy can't find my apartment, even though this particular Pizza Hut is like 2 blocks away, and they've been to my place like 5 or 6 times.
So I give them some better directions, and roughly 45 minutes after my "Estimated delivery time", they finally show up. BUT THE GUY SAYS THE TOTAL IS $15.56. I say "Uh....the total I got was $11.97". He plays dumb and asks me if I had a coupon, and I said no, because I thought he meant physical coupon. So, I buckle under the pressure and end up borrowing $3 in cash from my roommates in order to pay the guy off. I'm thinking they cancelled my original order after the guy couldn't find the place, then re-entered it in as a regular, non-online order with no coupons. I know it's my fault for not causing a commotion, or at the least not calling them and complaining, but it never crossed my mind. I wasn't really expecting something like that to happen.
